cheap and easy
The dealer wanted $150 to replace my cracked fob. So I figured it must be somewhat complicated but I decided to give it a try on my own. I almost immediately sent it back because I ordered the 3 button version (no trunk release) but they sent the 4 button one. But my buttons still lined up, and the whole process took less than 5 minutes. So I took off 1 star for actually sending me the wrong product, but overall it worked fantastic. Saved me over $140.

Make sure the key 🔑 case shell that you buy, is exactly like the one that you have
My case was broken at the bottom, so I used duct tape to hold it. It didn’t stay secure for long. Checked the information on YouTube, and ordered one from Amazon, for under 10$. The Dealer wanted 179.00$. My Daughter didn’t think I could fix the broken key 🔑. She was very surprised to see how good it works; like a brand new key. All you have to do is follow the instructions. Everything from inside of my key case, was easy to switch over to the new one. No Problem starting my car. Great little invention 💖

Good design
If you know how the original keys are made you would be scratching your head about how this would work. But once you see it it's pretty self explanatory. As long as you have the insides of your old key (the lock, unlock, and panic buttons) and the metal ingraved key part this will fix your key and you won't have to go have it reprogrammed.

Not exactly aligned correctly
Although I read the reviews previously on the installation troubles, I went ahead and bought one for myself. It is true that the screw doesn't necessarily line up but I did get it to work. It beats going to the dealer and overpaying for a replacement. I can live with the screw slightly sticking out a bit.

Not an easy fix
I had a very hard time putting this key fob together. The key did not want to go into the small part that was to hold it. Then I had to use pliers to get the key fob to snap together. The hole didn't line up for the tiny screw to hold the key and I had to use an electric drill to ream out the hole enough to put in the screw. I have arthritis in my hands and it took me 30 minutes to get this key fob together.

Don't go for imitations
Tried some other products that were cheaper before purchasing this but they simply were not made correctly. This worked like a charm.

An “OK” case
Case is OK, doesn’t close all the way.
