Have had these several times and am bringing them on another trip in two weeks. Good as a camping meal when you want tot ravel light and feel full. Good quality.

This was extremely delicious. Next time I’d put just a little less than the two cups of water it asks for but other than that, I really enjoyed this. The mushrooms had a wonderful texture and so did the rice. I would eat this several nights in a row while backpacking. I would even keep some in my pantry at home for a day when I don’t feel like cooking. I’m definitely buying more of these for my next backpacking trek

I have been using Good To Go for backpacking and canoe camping trips and the Mushroom Risotto is an absolute keeper. It rehydrates well, has lots of flavor, and pairs well with the boxed wine we bring along! It is on the menu for our annual trips over and over again.

Finally chose this for a backpacking trip dinner. Was excited, then sad. The risotto was left to sit for at least 20 minutes to ensure hydration. Hydrated Beautifully. I could smell mushrooms. I was excited! Then I tasted it. And struggled to finish the meal. It was so very bland. And I had failed to pack salt, Siracha, or any flavor enhancers. This needs serious enhancement. So very disappointed in a product that retails for $15 plus.

Wonderful flavor, but be sure to stir it to mix flavors throughout; my first few bites weren’t stirred so I didn’t realize at first how good it was. A bit chewy. I can’t eat nightshades so the mushroom risotto is the only one I can eat. I wish I could eat others too! I will definitely buy this again for backpacking. Yum!

This is not only for people camping. Buy it if you want to have a convenient, delicious, and quick meal at hand. And, WOW, the flavor is so rich yet so perfect. It's absolutely delicious, and the size of the portions is good. I love the clean ingredients and the fact that it is gluten-free. I'll buy many more of these since it makes my cooking easier.

The best before I got was 2030 so about 6 years out. The product mixed well and was pretty tasty. I think this would be just fine for eating in an emergency. The rice got tender and the the mushrooms complimented pretty well. I liked it.
