Range and wireless connection is much better than I expected given some of the reviews. Great Buy
For the money, this is an outstanding camera system. Very easy to set up and the wireless range to the NVR is impressive. The Day image is very good and the night image is good to about the recommended distance. (65 ft) I can see well beyond that just not enough detail to make out a face without additional lighting. I have two cameras that are easily 75 feet away through 2 walls, 1 an exterior brick wall and I still have 4 of 5 bars of signal. I have one camera application that required one of the 2 included extension antennas to get it up to 4 bars. I will also admit that I tried 4 different NVR locations before settling on the best spot. One of the spots I thought this would do quite well (Very centralized and higher than most of the cameras) ended up giving a very poor signal on a few of the cameras, which were actually fairly close. Box and antenna position does make quite a difference. I tested my cameras to work and pair with the box and then placed them in the approx locations I wanted them. I then moved the box to different locations to see where it would work best. The nice thing about the wireless system is I only have to run data cables from the NVR to the router. The cameras require local power but this was no issue for me as I had either lighting fixtures, which I was able to use adapters on or outlets close to all 8 mount locations.

This item works great! Great quality and coverage. Couldn’t ask for a better company. Well satisfied. Night vision is awesome. After two years still works great.

Excellent camera system and customer service.
Excellent camera system and customer service. In 2019 we decided to acquire a new camera system and after a thorough search, we chose OHWOAI. We could not be happier with our choice. We have been very satisfied with the system and the customer service has always been quick to help with any questions I had. Being able to access the camera's feed when we're away from home really provides us with a great sense of security. Our system was easy to set up and access and the images, both day and night, are crystal clear. A few days ago, when we read that Ohwoai 2021 new had 100ft Super Night Vision, we decided to update our camera system and the resolution of the images is really impressive, definitely excellent! Free APP an easy to use. Customer service is fast and efficient. A camera system like OHWOAI gives us confidence and therefore we recommend it.

Do NOT buy, Wireless is GARBAGE... Ohwoai doesn't back their products or care about their customers
Update: 10.11.25: I have NOT heard anything from Ohwoai... Ohwoai has NEVER updated the camera software for the one I have... Cameras freeze and work when they want too... Cameras doesn't get good signal... Cameras go in and out... 2 cameras have lost night vision and shows a black screen at night... I have 1gigabit Verizon internet, cameras should have NO issues, but Ohwoai tell you that it only gets 100mbps... I just want a wired system that works and doesn't have problems... For the amount I paid, I should NOT have the problems I do... Update 4.6.25: 10 months since my last review update and I still have NOT received any communication with the company... These Ohwoai Security cameras are garbage... Since I purchased them in 2020, Ohwoai has NEVER updated their PC version... Multiple times a day (everyday) I deal with the cameras going in and out... Cameras freeze constantly... 2 of my camera's night vision doesn't work... When I bought this security system, they also NEVER had in the description or anywhere else that these cameras work at 100mbps ONLY... I have the best internet around, and the cameras still suck... I will NEVER buy from them again and I will make sure everyone I know doesn't either... I just want a working security system that doesn't have issues... When I bought this security system, a week later Ohwoai released and updated (better) security system... What yous see now when you look at this setup, is NOT what I seen...Ohwoai refuses to communicate with their customers... I am constantly having to restart my system... I paid alot of money and shouldn't be dealing with these problems... I want Ohwoai to replace my system with a wired updated system... That is all... This security system goes in and out, and hopefully I hope I never have to use them for a crime... I never know when they are going to work or not... Update: June 8, 2024 I have not had any communication with Ohwaoi regarding the ongoing issues with their security system. Despite my attempts, they have not reached out to address these concerns. The security system does not perform as expected; playback functionality is unreliable with frequent freezing and missing video recordings. Update: October 10, 2023 Not all cameras are functioning correctly, especially during nighttime when two cameras' night vision capabilities fail. Additionally, bright sunlight causes another set of cameras to display a white screen. Software instability on the PC requires frequent restarts. There has been no progress from the company's side, and software or hardware upgrades are lacking. Update: August 21, 2023 One month after the previous update, one camera now shows a bright white screen persistently. Continuous issues with the security system indicate inadequate support and resolution from the company. Given the investment in this product, expectations of reliable performance and customer support were unmet. When I purchased the wireless system, I did not anticipate the numerous problems that arose. Soon after setup, a more advanced version replaced my order on the site, leaving me with an outdated and problematic system. Repeated "No HDD" and "HDD Not Formatted" errors took over a year to address, highlighting slow and ineffective support services. Night vision issues persist, affecting visibility during nighttime. The wireless system operates at 100mbps regardless of internet speed, causing frequent disconnections and unstable performance across various devices. Camera videos exhibit skipping and freezing issues frequently, and device disconnects cause significant inconvenience. The PC application for viewing cameras often presents a blank screen, adding to the frustration of already existing issues. Customer support responses have been repetitive and unhelpful, extending beyond warranty limits and failing to provide meaningful solutions. Budget constraints led me to purchase less expensive alternatives that have proven more effective than the current system. Overall, the experience with this security system has been disappointing, given its high cost and the company's lack of adequate support and product reliability. Initially, the system worked well but deteriorated over time without satisfactory resolution from the company. A functional, reliable security system should be the norm, not the exception, particularly for ensuring safety and security.

ill start by thanking the review by Luke "The very first thing to do is plug in your cameras and write down the camera channel number...1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8" this has saved me much aggravation and time. The good: 8 cams 2Tb drive , 90% pre configured, tech support (they are amazing fast and know the system well) The bad: no remote configurations (you can only do it directly with the mouse), camera view layout (static cam 1 will always be the main and the rest will be side unless you change to view one at a time (read Luke' review!), picture is not great, really bad: NO REMOTE CONFIGURATION, as an IT / consumer id like to be able to add/remove/change user and passwords remotely , or fix picture, or change time / recording /network settings, or many other things that im able to do on other systems. my experience: 1) the NVR power cord that came with the system had to be replaced (was DOA) one call and they sent out a new one. 2) network issues: for some odd reason the system was "glitching" and remote view was "online" "offline" at random, after sending back and forth info with the tech i opted to do a full reset to network settings and change from DHCP to Static - resolved the issues and we been up for 2 weeks now.
