Does not work. At all. Avoid at all costs.
I ordered this product because it was a cheap solution to having to carry a cable with me to sync my phone to my computer when I carry my laptop. I saw the price and couldn't resist. But it's like they say, when something seems too good to be true, it usually is. I should have known I was buying a cheap $3 piece of cr@p that would not work with my computer.I tried installing this on all of my different USB ports on my laptop. Nothing. Would not even recognize it or pick up the drivers (I use Windows 7 Ultimate). I tried downloading the updated software. Nothing. I tried resetting my computer countless times. Nothing.I consider myself pretty tech saavy when it comes to things like this, but there is no hope for this product. Needless to say, the problem does not lay in the seller for this item (it was shipped and delivered quick), but in the actual product itself.Do yourself a favor and shell out another $10 for a much better model by a known name brand and I am sure you will be much more happy.I will not be returning this simply for the fact that I only spent $3 on it, so it is not worth my time or money to return it.I might, however, send it for a swim in the sewers. Or see how durable it is under my car tires.

It works
It took me over 3 hours to get it to work with Windows 7 64 bit. When I first got it I thought I received the wrong part because it would not plug into any USB port but then I had to really force it into the USB port and it works and in the process some of the plastic got bent from the force but removing it is very difficult and I am afraid it will break. Windows 7 did detect it and installed the proper drivers but I could not get it to pair with my Samsung Sleek phone. After trouble shooting it for 3 hours I discovered that my Bluetooth Support Service was not running on Windows 7(msconfig is where you can locate it under the Service tab). As soon as I turned it on everything started to work perfect. It has very good range on the Bluetooth dongle and speed is great. I did not update any drivers because I really could not find one for it that I could download. The ones that I found all the links were broken but it works just fine they way it came so I am not going to mess with it because it may stop working again. It's cheap and it works.Have a blessed day,Tony Harrison

Did what I needed, but there's not a lot of range...
We were getting new phones and discovered that our carrier had "helpfully" locked our old ones down from any PC cable data transfers. Rather than picture message everything we had on the phones, I gave this inexpensive Bluetooth adapter a shot.It (plus some free software) did what I needed it to, but it wasn't entirely easy. The range on this required me to be sitting literally a foot away from the PC.Considering I no longer have a use for this (we now use microSD cards to prevent this happening again), I couldn't give it a terrible review, but it might have had some added usefulness if it had a better range. All in all, it was worth what I paid.

Cheap and easy
This is the cheapest Bluetooth dongle that I've found so far. As long as you use the included software it works fine. It seems like this came with a pirated version of Blue Soleil Bluetooth software. I say this only because the CD has no official label, instead it is a generic Chinese mini CD-r which has been burned with the software on it. If you lose the CD, be prepared to buy the latest version of Blue Soleil software (or purchase another dongle, which is much cheaper). I was unable to get any other software to operate the dongle.Ok, all of that aside, the Bluetooth dongle operates flawlessly once it is installed, and at the price I am thrilled. I would definably buy one of these again.

Excellent Bluetooth Adapter for the price!
I had a Bluetooth mouse that I needed to connect to my laptop which does not have a built-in Bluetooth adapter. This awesomely priced device allowed me to quickly connect my Bluetooth mouse to my laptop in less than a few seconds. The setup was pretty much fully automatic on Windows 7: I just plugged in the product into my laptop and Windows 7 installed all the required driversBottom line: for just under $3, I was able to made my laptop fully Bluetooth enabled. Great product, do not hesitate to buy.

testin your luck with this one
price is good. size is good. product is mehh I used it about 4 timed to sync things to my phone and it worked exactly as it should and then suddenly it just crapped out on me. when I would plug it into a hub my computer wouldnt flinch I might as well have been sticking a junky peice of plastic in there because my computer wouldnt even try to see it. but all in all, it wasnt a huge loss for how cheap it was and it did work, just not for long. but other reviews have shown success. testing your luck for a couple bucks aint bad. So no harm no foul I would maybe buy from This person again

Quilaty Product, Low Price
When I ordered this I was expecting a product of less quality, but this works just as good as adapters I have had in the past. With Windows 7 the included CD is not necessary, Windows will find the drivers automatically. I would not recommend using the CD as it gives you a very outdated version of bluesoleil, which manages your bluetooth connections and devices. Windows XP, Vista, and 7 can manage bluetooth without any additional software, with a more clean and modern interface. The construction of the dongle does feel a little cheaper that the last one I had, which was manufactured by Microsoft. Considering that there is really no need to remove it from you computer, I don't think this will effect most people.
