I bought these so I can change my sponge every day. The used one goes in the dishwasher. These work really well as sponges and they clean up perfectly in the dishwasher. I have a collapsible dish strainer under my sink and I store the clean ones on it so they dry. No smells and the mesh works great to scrub. It doesn't scratch my non-stick pans either. Very happy with these.

I’ve had these for over a year now and they haven’t fallen apart or trapped any odors. I’ll never buy those nasty disposable sponges again.I use a sponge for about a week before I throw it in the laundry, and I make sure it’s rinsed and water is squeezed out between cleaning dishes. Never had an issue!! Get these

I bought these with the intentions of taking them to the church. However, I used one once and fell in love. So I gave 2 people a few and used the rest. I ordered more and am having a hard time giving them away this time. I rinse well and stand up to dry at the end of the day. Every week I wash in the washer and air dry. They last quite well!

Update: these still smell like sponges after use. I have to wash my hands after using so my hand doesn't smell. I still think they're easy to hold but I probably will try something else the next time. By the way, they last a pretty long time.My husband hates sponges and I have always used them to wipe up counters. We have had arguments about sponges. I researched to find something that felt like a sponge that wouldn't gross him out. This works although he still uses paper towels if he ever wipes a counter. This is about the same size as a sponge so it fits in my hand in a similar way, it grabs up crumbs, absorbs liquids and wrings out. One side feels like microfiber cloth and the other can scrape dried or stuck-on foods. It does not smell like cellulose sponges do and it lasts a good while. I'm about to run the first one through the dishwasher. That one was demoted to the sides on the counter that gets splattered by dog food and a new one is now being used for the countertops. You can use these for dishes, too, but I use something completely different for those because my OCD won't let me.

I love this duel sponge and will never switch to a regular sponge. It cleans really well and the light scrubber on the back is a bonus. It NEVER retains odors because it doesn’t have all those nooks and crannies that regular sponges have which can collect bacteria. I throw it in the dishwasher every time I run it and the sponge comes out looking like new. I also love that you’ve got so many in a pack at a lesser cost than standard sponges.

I'm normally a sponge user, but found these and decided to try them because of the good reviews, and the claim that they don't get that moldy smell like a sponge. Well, they are great for washing dishes and stay cleaner on the surface longer than a sponge. However, the claim that they don't get moldy smelling is complete baloney. I am particular in how I care for my cleaning sponges, and I make sure I squeeze them as dry as possible when done using. I also have a holder that I put them in to dry, the kind with air holes all around so the entire things is exposed to air to dry quickly. These get the moldy smell after about a week, same as a regular sponge. I've gone through the whole pack and it's the same with every one. So, while I would recommend them because they clean very well and are a good value for the price/quantity, I wouldn't set your expectation that they won't get smelly because they will.
