A perfect addition to my camera making sure my picture is level.

If you really need a level, this shoe cover is ok. However, it is shorter than normal and does not have a backstop that others have to fit snug. Very wary about its effectiveness of preventing water tracing its way into the touch points.Overall, Good quick fix for some protection, and a level if you really need one at the price, but for me, I will buy normal covers from now on.Personally, if I needed a gimmick for a shoe cover, it would be luminous to find in the dark or have an elastic string/band attached to wrap around the lens when taken off.Any manufacturers reading this out there?...

I quite often do videos, and having a quick check of the level is quite essential; having these on the top of the camera makes it super easy, as when on the tripod, the one which is on the plate gets covered (poorly designed tripod, I know).Nothing more to say, great value and a great product.

I've put one on each of my cameras and not only are the hot shoes protected, it helps when lining up the tripod

By design it is one of the best buy and also worth the price, but only issue I face is that it is not very tight on Sony A73 camera.

Che dire, è un tappo con una bolla.La bolla non la userete mai, però vi protegge il shoe mount dalla polvere. E costa poco.Se volete potete giocare con la bolla nei momenti di noia

Hatte schon mal diese Libellen bestellt und war sehr zufrieden.Einige meiner Bekannten fragten nach "dem Teilchen" und freuten sich als ich ihnendann eines schenkte.Da aber jetzt mein "Vorrat" verteilt war brauchte ich neue.Die Libellen passen auf als unsere Nikon-Kameras, sitzen passend fest, fallen nicht ab und sind gerade bei bestimmten Fotosituationen absolut praktisch von oben "abzulesen". Da kommt keine Libellen irgendwo am Stativ mit. Fazit: Sollte auch dieser Vorrat verbraucht sein, würde ich sie wiederkaufen. Wie gesagt: Die vorhandenen hatte ich abgegeben, sind nicht abgefallen oder ähnliches.

What more can you ask... they are cheap and basically work. While you can't exactly calibrate down to a fractional degree, that is not what they were designed for... they give me a "meh... yeah... level enough" reading and protect the hot shoe clamp.
