An item you never want to have to use
This is an item you will never want to use, but will be praising God that you have it if you ever needed it. It’s a great kit. I also included hair samples (the bulb portion that contains the DNA) with the saliva/cheek swabs.Took advice from other reviewers and purchased a Notary Ink pad for clearer fingerprints and I used the included ink strips to do whole hand prints.

Peace of Mind
I liked this product, although some things really were unnecessary on it. For instance, there is a space for blood type, but when I called the doctor to get it, she said that they didn't even have my kids type on file because they don't really type "ahead of time anymore". If there is an emergency, they will just give the child the universal type to start with anyway. There was also a mistake in the DNA sample instructions. They said you could also include a few hair clippings in addition to the swab, but DNA isn't carried in the ends of the hair---it is contained in the bulb, the part that grows just under the skin surface.

Peace of mind with messy ink
Great idea, and I’m glad I purchased it. However, the ink strips are terrible and terribly messy. I highly recommend using a different ink pad for fingerprinting.

Protect your family, it's up to you
Gave the kit for my granddaughter. They hadn't thought about doing something like this. With the climate of hate spreading at a phenomenal rate thanks to some the rest of us must be prepared for the unthinkable. God forbid this is ever needed it will help out angels in blue to bring our children home safely and quickly.Get one for each person in the family. Love them enough to help those who look for us an ever greatful helping hand every day. I still can't believe mayor's would tell these hero's to allow lawlessness permission to defile our cities with no punishment upcoming. These kits will be indespensible to law enforcement that are still on the protection side and not with the wrong washington influences.
