Not so good condition
I’m aware that I bought these books at a relatively low price, but the condition of the books right out of the box made me question if I’ve got second-hande. It would have be alright if the item is stated that it is on sale because of the bad conditions but it says it’s new. The book is definitely readable it’s just that I got these for someone else and the presentation is just not good. Thinking about returning it.

Good but
This is good and most of the little stories are followed by the meaning or interpretation of the story. The problem is that many of these interpretations or meanings are misguided.See picture for example

It's wonderful
I discovered the Tao De Jing about six months ago and wanted to go further into Taoist texts. This is fantastic! You get all the short little stories of the ZhuangZi and although the illustrations are silly, they are informative and help me share these stories with my little ones. Really a treasure. I plan on buying one for all the people in my life who are going through difficult times, there is so much wisdom and plain sense and humor to read and think about.

The art work deftly supports the stories
Very inventive/original style of drawing from C. C. Tsai. Familiar Taoist/Zen stories drawn from Chuang Tsu's writing. I imagine students of Chinese will benefit from the sidebar Chinese rendering of the stories. The short pronunciation index is nice with the Chinese character(s), a Romanization, a definition, and page occurrences. The short Forward and Introduction are well done. All together a useful and enchanting visit to Taoist philosophy. Enjoyable on many levels.

A modern take on an ancient classical text.
I'm really pleased to have come across this title. The Lao Tse one should be released in a few months. The traditional characters for each chapter are written on the pages (for those who would like to refer to the original text in Traditional characters) and the English translations written in speech bubbles, with drawn characters talking to each other, sometimes including a side commentary too. It's a nice and interesting way to work through such an incredible Classical text.

O Nietzsche da China antiga.
Zhuangzi é o mestre do desaprender. Ele destrói suas certezas e ensina como alcançar a verdadeira sabedoria.

I paid for a new book but received a dirty one
New books aren't supposed to have dirt on them and scuff marks.
