Big Upgrade from the old Atom Mini PCs
The media could not be loaded. ** Note: Review is for GN34 version with J3455 Processor / 6GB Ram / 64GB eMMC **What I Like:- Fast enough for casual web browsing, entertainment and watching 4K video- Decent multi threaded performance- Stays relatively cool and is quiet (I saw max 62*C when stress testing)- Full Windows 10 license- Lots of USB Ports- Can support dual monitor (although one is through VGA out)What I Don't Like:- Only eMMC included: Get an SSD to go with this!Build / Design: In terms of build quality this mini PC is made entirely of plastic. It kind of reminds me of the Android TV boxes, but it runs full windows with a full Intel processor. There's a power button on the side along with 4 USB-3 ports, a VGA port, HDMI, regular SD slot, ethernet and a headphone jack. It can mount to the back of a TV or screen with a VESA mount. Also, you can pull open the back and install an SSD which I would *highly* recommend doing as they only includePerformance: This TV box is snappy to launch apps even with the eMMC. Firefox loads pages quick while multi tasking with playing music or watching videos in the background. It only slows noticeably while doing windows updates (which is common among most low to mid range PCs). The eMMC is good enough for casual use, but it is not as fast for large file ops, I would highly recommend spending the extra 20 - 30 bucks on an NVME 2242 SSD (128GB+ so you have lots of extra space). I mainly recommend the SSD because even a regular SD card will be pretty close to the same price and not offer the performance boost of an SSD.On a positive note, the hardware stays cool and quiet in use. I ran a burn-in test for 30 minutes and the system recorded a max 62*C temperature, well under the processors max threshold. The fan is audible when it kicks in as a gentle hum, not loud at all. Lower temperatures usually lend themselves to better longevity so it is nice to see that temps are kept under control with minimal throttling.Gaming: Unfortunately the processor is still a little bit too slow / low power to play modern AAA games. However, older titles such as pre 2010s will run 720p low-med depending on the title. Also, steam in home streaming works great, so you can always just run the games on a high end desktop and use this one just as a receiver.Network: The Wi-Fi card can max out my network with 150Mb/s up/down. I didn't test the gigabit ethernet port as I don't have access to my router at home.Best Use Case: I think this box is best for streaming netflix, using Steam in-home streaming, watching online video, browsing social media and chatting It would also be a pretty good choice for a Point of Sale computer or anywhere that having the most compact system possible is necessary. Conclusion: Budget mini PCs have came a long way and it's always super cool to see how good small tech is getting. If you're looking at something with the Celeron J3455 processor vs. an Intel Atom (or even an older celeron), get this one instead. This newer processor generation is faster feeling even if on paper they are all pretty similar. I would also recommend spending the extra 20 - 30 on that SSD just to make things even more snappy. It's nice that it is upgradeable if you do decide to go this route.

A TRICKY START, BUT WONDERFUL AFTER TECH SUPPORT RESOLVED AN ISSUE
I own two other mini PC's that I use for music and video streaming and I was excited to find a Celeron unit at this price point. I got off to a rough start, as the pre-installed Windows was apparently corrupted. Tech support from the seller was lightning fast (they responded within 15 minutes to my email) and they provided me with a link to download a Windows 10 boot file, along with easy-to-follow YouTube instructions. The download (about 8 Gigs) took about 45 minutes and I then spent a good hour preparing a boot disc off of a USB stick and re-loading Windows, but it was otherwise smooth sailing after that. The PC itself is very fast and seems to have good cooling. Unfortunately, the Celeron J3455 processor does not allow for the unit to restart automatically after a power failure, so just be advised if you're looking at reviews here for lower-priced units with the Atom processor that can restart after a power failure. The J3455 does NOT have that capability, at least with the BIOS for these units.I'll update my review if anything goes wrong (I've had two other mini PC's die on me over the past year), but this seems to be a fantastic PC otherwise. Great value for the money!

Great little Windows 10 Pro PC
I purchased all the pieces on Amazon which in addition to the GN34 includes a KingSpec 512 GB M.2 SSD and SanDisk 128 GB SD card. I have multiple Raspberry PI 3 B+ running Linux but enjoy being able to be able to use the Windows platform for development. I also am powering the unit using a 12V UPS power source. Monitor is an Elecrow 11.6 with a wireless USB keyboard/mouse. Customer support was prompt answering my questions via email. The GN34 has been powered on since purchase/configuration without issue. Windows 10 Pro setup was without issue and quick. I am using a C# USB to I2C CPU intensive application with it without any performance issues. It runs Visual Studio and MS Office application without issue. It easily connected with my wired network as well as wireless networks. I connected my second GN34 to an Adafruit touch screen display originally used for my Raspberry PI and it works fine.

Works well for what I needed it for, good value!
I've been using this for a few days now. I needed something for my office that can handle basic file sharing, document handling and web browsing. So far it's working exceptionally well. It slows down a bit when multitasking multiple programs and web pages open, but that's to be expected. It mounted right to the back of my monitor so it doesn't take up any space at all. I am really happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend. I may even purchase one for home.Update-I wanted to post an update for two reasons. I didnt realize I could mount this on my monitor, and I did. It mounts very easily and takes up no room at all. I've been using this for 2 weeks now. Still works great! Use it for business things, spreadsheets, docs, slideshows. It's working well.

Meh
Tried installing a few flavors of Linux without success. Didn't bother reaching out for support so no comment there. Not the platform for my needs at this point. It worked fine in Windows 10 for the little testing I did but I didn't need an under-powered desktop with few/no user serviceable parts.

Don't buy a desktop. This computer is everything I need.
Love this tiny computer. Had to replace my desktop but bought this tiny computer instead. It does everything at a great price and I don't have a big box sitting under my desk. However, I didn't need to spend $150 on 1TB additional memory. I pretty much have everything on the cloud nowadays. So I'm going to give *that* purchase a bad review. Because 1TB that was one of the memory sizes offered for this computer, but it is too big for its M.2 expansion slot. Total waste of my $150. So this was not an inexpensive computer for me after all.
