Q: Are the holes 1/8 inch in diameter? Not sure when it says mm.

When I measure the INSIDE of the hole, I come up with a 7/8" INSIDE diameter hole. I hope this helps and answers your question.

Q: did these turn quickly?

No they have lasted a very long time .. What I I did with my other pck I put clear nail polish on it and let them dry over night and I wear those in the shower and they haven't turned either

Q: Does these beads fit for bangles

Not sure what you mean about "bangles." I used them on stretch cord with other beads for bracelets. They are beautiful beads, about 1/2 inch wide on the outside with a large hole in the middle. Smaller beads would slip through. I used them as a feature bead and to hide the knot in my cord. They would work on any size cord or wire you wanted to use. Hope this helps.
