Great Filter!
Very well constructed and perfect for my 23 GX460. I have used the K&N and this in other vehicles and both have performed flawlessly. Cleaning is easy and I keep the OEM filter to use while this filter is drying.

Good filter
So I read alot of the reviews before purchasing and it did have some of the black overmold flakes. I shook the filter and looked it over and to ensure no more pieces were loose. Other filters of these kinds of filters are the same way, if you are that peculiar then take the time to clean it up.

I like dryflow filters over oiled any day of the week
Gotta love the Amazon asked question.... "Easy install?" In this case yes, but I have had other cars that the design of the stock airbox is insane to get the filter out. Fortunately Toyota made this one easy!I am a fan of dryflow filters. I have used both AEM and AFe of which I have between these two manufacturers in three cars. Keeps everything clean and are cleanable. I have one that has been in my car for 6+ years and is still in good order.I have used others that are oiled and seen people use foam filters. They both have their issues. Either the oil gets into the intake tract and air mass sensor if equipped....never a good mix. The foam seem to get dirty fast and deteoriate fairly quickly. The issue there is the bits and then dirt find their way where they shouldn't.Am I expecting gains in power or gas mileage...no I am not. In this case for me it is replacing a stock paper filter with something way better and will last for the remainder of the time I own the vehicle.

Awesome!
So far so good. I cannot testify to any increase in mpg yet. I have a bit of a heavy foot and it works very well for increased varoom! I use it in my SUV. Coupled with Lucas treatment with every fill up, I am able to use regular gas (premium recommended) and this air filter gives my vehicle way more power. I'm sure if I was concerned with better mpg, this filter would help. I also like the fact that the filter does not use oil. It is dry and easy to blow ir wash out.

Good choice for a DRY hi-flow filter for TRD CAI
so far so good. fit perfectly (2013 FJ Cruiser) in the TRD CAI. wayyy more air than the stock oem filter. I’d recommend checking the filter for any bits of rubber seam before placing it. I did find 2 slivers and removed them.If youre looking for a reusable DRY hi flow air filter - this is a good choice.
