From the custom light weight case that's strong enough to sit on to the incredible versatility of this light. Powerful enough to emulate daylight coming though you're home. Tame enough to be turned down to 1 with zero flicker. Every aspect of this light was thought out! It is a daylight balanced light that puts out a very consistent 5200K light. The 300d Mark II's power supply comes with a heavy duty clamp with quick release for going to a C Stand or any other type of stand. The whole power supply/controller unit is a huge heatsink. So it makes no noise. The light itself has two large whisper quiet fans. The power cord is a very long cord that locks into the unit so it will not be pulled out if someone trips on it. The yoke holding the light swings a full 360 degrees so you can put it in any direction you need it. It has very useful special lighting effects. All in all I bought one 300d Mark II used it on a job, and immediately ordered a second one. Everything you could possibly want this light can do! I suggest purchasing the Aputure Light Dome II and the Aputure Lantern light modifiers with this light. Also if you plan to use it without AC power you will need to purchase two V- mount batteries to power it at full power. One battery to power it at 50% power. With one V Mount battery it bring the power output down to that of the 120d Mark II. This is one light you will want many of and end up bringing on every job.

This is is one of the most flexible and impressive lights I've ever worked with! And when you factor in the price, it almost seems to good to be true. The build quality is outstanding, it uses real rubber coated cables, with quality connectors, the ballast is heavy duty and the fixture itself extremely bright! I own several accessories, including the fresnel with barn doors, the light dome II, and the lantern. All are well made and will last for years. This is almost the same as the Arri Orbier, but 80% less expensive!! (And I understand, the Arri is RGB) The wireless remote and App are great, plus you can control everything via DMX, you can't ask for more. This fixture is Daylight only, (97-CRI) but easily gelled and easy to set-up. These are great location units, and will run about an hour on two V-mount batteries. Enough said, when they come out with an RGB version, call me, I'll take a dozen!

Amazing light for the price with several use options. Everything came packed correctly and secured in the box. Nothing was broken and it was well protected. I would buy from this store again and I actually have. I purchased the Aputure lantern through them as well.

The Aputure 300D MarkII is an awesome light source. I bought 2 of them and I am very happy with the light they put out. I bought 2 v-mount batteries to full power one and also like the results. I also bought one Aputure 2X Fresnel, which I would also recommend to everyone. I am still testing/learning with them all. But I am very pleased with my purchase.

Love the case they come in, easy to carry around. Good quality light, very bright, sturdy. Love the remote and phone app capability, easy for my crew to setup multiple of these and change settings on the fly. Recommend getting the light domes.

Ho acquistato diversi tipi di luci in passato, per uso principalmente in studio e devo dire che non ero abbastanza soddisfatto della resa e della luminosità degli altri fari. Dopo tanto tempo e dopo aver guardato tante recensioni sul prodotto, mi sono deciso ed l'ho acquistato e devo dire che è stata una svolta. La luminosità del farò è veramente tanta, mai usata più del 75% di potenza con softbox montato. La resa cromatica è veramente alta e i colori risultano fedelissimi alla realtà. La centralina di controllo permette anche di poter utilizzare molti effetti presenti, tipo: strobo, firework, paparazzi ecc ecc...possibilità di controllo anche tramite applicazione dedicata, ottimo per controllare il tutto a distanza (ovviamente sempre all'interno di uno studio in quanto la connessione avviene tramite bluetooth...c'è stato soltanto un piccolo problema con la centralina che presentava un difetto con una modalità, ovvero la faulty bulb, che se impostata alla massima potenza dopo 3 minuti di utilizzo si spegneva da sola, contattato il venditore che me ne ha spedita una nuova immediatamente e tornata indietro quella danneggiata

I thought this was a great light but the grid accessory I bought from aputure for the head broke the bulb so I've been unable to use. puture refuse to fix ubnder warranty. Crappy service!
