Had a hard time trying to find a filter for my very old hood vent and I found this guy. Fits in there just perfect

The filter is for a ductless range vent. Ordering was excellent with no problems with delivery, damage, packaging, price or support. Although the aluminum frame is more fragile than a steel frame, it is more than adequate for the purpose if you are careful when handling. So nothing bad about the supplier.My problem is with the minimal thickness of the actual activated carbon filter media. The old filter I removed was almost a 1/4 inch thick filter in the 5/16 inch frame. The new filter was slightly over 1/16 inch thick, in the same 5/16 inch frame. It was much like comparing a 1-ply filter to a 3-ply filter. Although the actual filter frame was the stated size, the new filter media was about 1/4 of the frame thickness. So I guess due to the thinner filter, this will mean the filtration will not be as efficient and the carbon will probably not last as long. So although the price was good, I guess I got the cheaper "filter" I paid for.It would be nice if the actual filter media efficiency rating (MERV) were also included in the specifications like they are for larger HVAC and HEPA filters.

Delivery at the earliest date promised. Was packaged very well. In the past, I've ordered range hoods from Amazon. They've arrived bent and damaged because they weren't packaged properly for this fragile item. This one arrived in perfect condition. It was exactly as described. Seller promptly sent my order.

The old filter is just as delicate as this replacement. It came in slightly bent, but easily straightened. Fits just like the old part.

This is a good product, fits perfectly.

Not the same brand filter does not have grease guard on it.
