PepperWick Privacy Webcam Cover for Laptop, PC and Tablet (6 Pieces, Black)

I got this as I was a bit concerned about the camera on my iMac - Skype has this annoying habit of turning on the camera for any incoming video call, without asking permission first. I was a bit skeptical looking at this product, I wasn't sure that it would do the job at this price point, especially since you get 6 in one package.As it turns out, I needn't have been worried - this works beautifully! It fits as if the iMac came from the factory that way (see the attached picture to see what I mean), and the shutter is smooth and effortless to use. It takes a bit of doing to get it aligned just right, but if you put in a few minutes with a straight object to align it (such as a measuring ruler), it goes on easily, and perfectly fits the aesthetic of the iMac.It seems to be stuck well for now, I'll come back and update this review if it malfunctions, or falls off.

Initially on seeing its size wanted to return however then realized that it can easily serve the purpose without any issue. On my laptop it exactly fits camera and no hindrance on camera face. Only point is that they are delicate because of their shape and that would be issue with all Webcam covers. Easy to slide and if not taken care then slider will come out easily. No need to put extra force to slider.

Product is good but it's too delicate. Please use it carefully. Installation is quite simple just clean the surface with diluted sanitizer and place the product over the cam. While placing the web cam cover please open the web cam on you laptop. So that it is placed properly and doesn't cover the camera area. I have used it on my HP Pavilion Gamming Laptop. Price is a but high of this product as it's just a small delicate piece of plastic. Packing of the product can be done better as it is delicate product. Overall it is good and provides complete security from miss use or webcam.

Good product! Perfect for the purpose. Looks great too. Just the right thickness - does not affect camera quality or get in the way when closing lid. Installed on 2 MacBook Pros and an Acer laptop. Adhesion is very strong.Tips:1. I prefer to use black on black surfaces and white on white. I think it looks better that way.2. Make sure that you have the camera visible through the open hole while installing. That way, you will know just where it should go.3. Being small, you need to apply it adroitly with nimble fingers. See if you have a reverse tweezer handy. I didn’t but it’s perfectly applied after some initial fumbling.Hope it helps! Thanks to the manufacturers for a well thought out product.

The camera cover works as expected. All it has to do is to make sure it covers the camera lens. However, be creful before purchase. The product is unnecessarily tiny and very flimsy. The sliding cover is very easily moveable and will move if you move your tablet or laptop. Older laptops with built in bigger lenses will be covered permamnently because of the small size of this cover.I am keeping it because it's worth the price paid and barely satisfy my needs. Since there are six, pieces, I will replace when breaks or just falls of due bad adhesion.

The media could not be loaded. 1) Made up of good quality plastic.2) Shutter works absolutely fine, no structural deformity observed till date.3) Pasting mechanism is quite good, just remove the blue film and paste it on the webcam.4) Successfully applied on HP pavillion au006tx, Dell vostro 3578.( Hole size is enough for laps/ mobiles)5) Bought for Rs199, per piece price = 33.33 ( Cheap)6) Pro tip/Rookie mistake: Paste it such that Webcam dot light is not covered with shutter in open position ( NOT paste it like that in the video)( Paste it like in last 2 pics i.e. pics with visible wallpaper)

Really good. Taking off 1 star, because there is no visual indicator to let you know if the shutter is open or not. On my black laptop, that defeats the purpose. Got around it by painting the open part of the shutter white, so I can immediately tell if I forgot to close it.

I had my doubts about the fit before purchasing the product, but the product fits perfectly on the Laptop camera. I have got it fitted on 3 different Laptops and it just blends in with the structure as if it's Laptop's original part. The slider is very convenient to use. The adhesive is good quality, if you follow the instructions they have given it sits firmly. Design and size of the product is such that it not bulge out or no gap formed when you Fold/Close the Laptop. I would surely recommend it to everyone.
