VERY nice shaving brush
This is the third synthetic knot shaving brush I've added to my shelf. So glad I jumped on it when the red/white handled version appeared. I've used it for my last two shaves (Razorock Tuscan Oud with a dollop of Cognac and Cuban Cigars/Razorock Stainless BBS with Derby Platinum blade) and find it to be an excellent brush! Holds on a fair amount of water even after a shake or three, picks up soap very well, and proceeds to quickly yield a nice lather. The description placing it size-wise in league with the Simpson "Chubby" series is accurate (per my pic). The knot has a soft feel but there's plenty of backbone to the fibers - it doesn't wilt at all once wet but puts plenty of lather on your face and let's you work it into your beard. It does it's assigned task really well: I have no reservations recommending it. This brush is more than worth it's modest price tag and represents great value for the cost.My first synthetic was well-hyped. Nice and soft but the fibers had no strength so you could slop on lather but that was it. My second was from Razorock: well worth the reasonable price of admission. I have to say, though, that I think Mr. Fine's offering takes first place among my synthetics. Still love my Simpson badger brushes but this synthetic will see regular use and probably edge out my Wee Scot for travel.

Overall I really like it. The loft is very good
This is my third synthetic brush. Overall I really like it. The loft is very good, but it is a bit tougher to splay than I would like. Once you do press hard enough to get it to splay, it pushes the lather up closer to the handle. Tips feel nice and soft. I had no problems lathering with it, and did both a face and a head shave with it. I think the 24mm knot size is ideal. Large enough to hold a good load of soap, not so big that it makes it hard to get under the nose and behind the ears. It's certainly an attractive item and I'm glad I ordered it. It lost out on the 5 star rating for me simply because it's more expensive than some other better brushes. I think the RazoRock brushes have this beat in terms of price and feel, but this one is close.

Beyond expectations
I have far too many shave brushes, let's get that out up front. This one was supposed to be a novelty. It is anything but. I am amazed at the quality of this brush for the price. From the knot down to the engraved logo on the bottom of the handle, every aspect has exceeded my expectations. As for performance, I'll caution that this is a densely packed brush -- by design. It may not behave like other synthetics you might be accustomed to. It behaves very similarly to the Simpsons Chubby that it was intended to mimic. Meaning, if you're a "splayer," this might not be the brush for you. This is a "whip and paint" type brush. And it does that exceptionally well.

Soft and a little too floppy
It’s a soft brush and the handle is a great shape and fit. Great for a cream or soft soaps, takes a lot more effort than my badger brushes on the milled soaps with the amount of flop and lower water retention but overall not dissatisfied with it.

Awesome brush!!!!
This is my first synthetic brush. I've also used pure badger and boar brushes. This is easily after one use my new favorite. Super soft, holds a ton of lather (able to do 3 passes and touch up with Stirling soap) and the "stout" handle is great for control and comfort. I decided to go with this brush after seeing an interview with Mr. Fine and coming to the conclusion that this guys products are top notch I use fine aftershave and his lathering bowl as well and all of it is great! Going to try his soaps next. Anyway back to the brush I've only used it for face lathering thus far and again would highly recommend it. I'm not sure I'll ever buy anything but synthetic brushes going forward.

Excellent brush
This brush gives my badgers a run for their money! For under $30, it lathers just as well and feels soft, but with good backbone. I’ve tried it with different creams and soaps, including Fine, Proraso, TOBS and Art of Shaving. The Fine Stout made a great lather with them all. I’ll use this for travel too, since all I have to do is wring out the cream under running water, shake it and dry on a towel. And it’s dry enough that it doesn’t need hanging! In all, very impressed with this synthetic.

Not as firm as I had hoped
I thought the shorter bristles would be a little stiffer than they are. Of course, if you like it soft and silky, this is for you. I might try a boar bristle

Nice Super stiff
Good quality brush. No shedding and the handle is really nice. For me ,the bristles are a little too firm/dense to use on creams and soft soaps. The cream sits more on the surface of the bristles even when working it in a bowl. It works much better on hard soaps where you can work it on a puck and load a little at a time, but I don't use hard soaps that often.Nice brush but not the one I use regularly.
