Epic Spell Wars of the Battle Wizards: ANNIHILAGEDDON Deck-Building Game

This game is awesome. It took a minute to understand how the gameplay works, but with the help of YouTube and friends around the game table, everything will be understood quickly.If you like the original spell wars series, you'll love this. It has a different play style because it's a deck builder game. It starts slow and then gets crazier as the players gain more cards. 10/10 would recommend this game. I just wish I could get my hands on the rest of the promo items.Like usual, can't wait for another expansion or game within the wizard universe.

Bought this for my Fiancés birthday and he LOVES it! His favorite game. Great to play with friends!

Short Version: Great Deck-builder. Get this game, but from the company's website as its 20 dollars cheaper and comes with more.Long Version: This deck builder is easy and fun to learn. The cards are funny and fun to play with. Loved playing this game, but the package was damaged upon arrival. Also it's 20 dollars on the company's website. That includes a bundle of cards and a play mat.

I've played most all the Cryptozoic deckbuilders. This one is one of my favorites now. All the elements found in most other Crypt deckbuilders, with fun new additions to keep things fresh. Fortunately those things all feel balanced (except Uncle Andy's Laurels... 5 power card for only 7 cost...). The art is hilarious funny, the new standees are a welcome addition, the focus on attacks and killing other players is perfect. Every change here is for the better.This one needs expansions! Give me everything you can for Annihlageddon, Cryptozoic, and I'll buy each day one!

Fun, easy to learn and replay value. If you like a fun game that can last anytime between 1hr -5hr depending on how many people you playing with and how you play the game and have fun playing competitive against other players while making their lives miserable this is the game for you. Easily became one of my favorite games. Highly recommend

When we were first introduced to this game we did not think it was one we’d like. It seemed very confusing and just not our type of game. However, within the first few rounds we got the hang of it and absolutely loved it and even purchased it less than halfway through our first game. We’ve played it several times since and still very much enjoy the game. We would highly recommend.

You'll definitely need to set aside some time to play this game: I played with 2 players and we got tired of the game before we finished, I played with 3 and it still took around 3 hours to complete a game when the game suggests it should be 45 minutes to an hour.There are 3 ways to end the game1. Exhaust the draw deck (time consuming)2. Exhaust the dead wizard tokens (there are quite a few)3. Exhaust the legends deck (time consuming and difficult)If you want to shorten the game a bit I'd suggest removing a 1/5 of dead wizard tokens for each missing player.
