This is a well made and classy looking machine. It’s easy to use and makes good coffee taste good.

Not sure why SMEG seem to 'oversize' things. This Coffee Machine is like the 4-slice toaster I have from the same range, it's HUGE. That said, this is a very well built product. It's worth spending the extra.Not sure why the particular seller I bought from had re-taped over the original manufacture tape on the box. Definitely looked like someone had already opened it. Wasn't too impressed and I personally won't use that seller again. However, the product seems in order.Bit over-complicated than it needed to be. I won't need to have it plugged in 24/7 and therefore won't bother setting the clock. Won't be using the auto-timer either. Heats up very quickly. That's a plus.Keeps the coffee warm for 40mins after it's made. 10 cups is plenty big enough capacity. Although the "cups" seem to be tiny. I only use small cups but "4 cup" capacity was the equivalent of slightly over 2 actual cups. Great coffee machine. Matches my kettle and toaster. Looks and feels like it will last.Also has an aroma setting which I doubt I'll ever use.All in all, I would highly recommend this product and any SMEG products for that matter. Worth every penny.

This is a great filter coffee maker. It’s easy to use, produces cafe standard coffee and is easy to clean. It also keeps the coffee warm for long enough. I’m super impressed with this product.

I was very happy with this coffee machine until the handle of the glass jug fell off while I was making coffee and glass injured my hand.Luckily I was wearing trousers and long sleeve shirt so I didn't get burn by the boiling coffee;so be careful because this jug is poorly made.

Made my first coffee in my new glossy black coffee maker today and I’m super impressed. Coffee was hot and stayed hot for 45 minutes. Not the cheapest, but it looks smart in my kitchen! Can definitely recommend

I had to have one of these to match the toaster and kettle in which it does, it's got a really groovy look about it man, it's like something you might see out of Thunderbirds, it could be a bit hotter but it makes a nice aroma and I find if you leave it on the hot plate for about five minutes after brewing then it's at the temperature I like, it's easy enough to fill up with a water filter jug, ten cups (max) is the equivalent to four geezer sized cups of coffee, size 4 paper filters are easier than cleaning the reusable filter, a good machine and a must have if you like your Smeg stuff....would have got top marks if been a bit hotter.
