Great
A great sander, had a black and decker for years it finally gave up, so bought this and it's excellent, very powerful. Most of the sawdust is collected in the container. Very happy

Great sander; shame about the pads.
So, I have been using a random orbital sander to take paint off a number of outdoor and indoor wood surfaces, with good effect. However, I have got to the point in realising that even armed with my orbital sander, a heat gun, shave hook and stripping knife, I am unable to tackle some of the very small and intricate places, especially near window frames, so I was on the lookout for a detail sander. I swayed between this one, a Black & Decker and a Bosh. Despite some of the negative reviews about pads not fitting/slipping off, I was in a hurry, due to the weather forecast, so I went with this one for Prime, next day delivery.Having used this Jellas model for a solid 8 hours, I can say that it is an excellent sander. In some ways it is more powerful than my random orbital sander and is certainly ‘champing at the bit’ to run along that wood! However, I would have to agree with many of the other reviews which state that the pads come off while using it. While this is very disappointing, it is purely down to the cheap pads the machine is supplied with (not good Jellas!) and nothing more. It’s a good job, I suppose, that it doesn’t come with many.On inspection of the pads after slipping off (after only a few minutes) the ‘loop’ underside that is supposed to stick to the ‘hooks’ on the sander had just disintegrated. I kept attaching new pads, but the same thing happened after only minutes of use. Obviously the material used on the underside of the pad is very poor quality/not fit for purpose. After a while, out of sheer frustration and urgency to get the job done, I decided to attach a 150mm round pad that I had bought from toolstation for another type of machine. I managed to cut this to size and it stayed on the sander fine, and, with some improvisation, I managed to complete the job. Therefore, my conclusion is that this is a sturdy, powerful machine, but do yourself a favour and get some quality pads from somewhere else if you decide to buy it (toolstation’s are cheap and very good quality).A couple of other things that you may want to consider are:The finger extension is invaluable for getting into tiny crevices; however it is secured via a screw, which you have to screw/unscrew with a Phillips screwdriver in order to be able to interchange this with the normal triangular head. It’s just something to consider when purchasing as it’s not as simple as quickly snapping the heads on/off while working, so you have go back over areas with the detail part later once you’ve finished with the larger pad, to avoid you from having to keep stopping/starting to interchange the heads. One other thing: I’m not too fussed about the handle on this sander, which is located on the top of the device. The other models I looked at had the handle in the form of an extension out the back of the device, so you could hold it in one hand and apply pressure with the other, on the top of the sander. However, with this one, with only one place to hold the sander and apply pressure, both your hands are in the same place, at the top, which gets tiring, or you are left using it with one hand, to give your other hand a break, which also means that fatigue can be a problem, especially if you are sanding in awkward positions. This is just something else to think about if you will be working for long periods of time.

Well made, efficient little sander.
I ordered this sander to remove the blistered varnish off a couple of kitchen cabinet doors. It arrived very promptly and came with enough spare sheets of sandpaper , in several different grades, to complete the job successfully. The sander was easy to use and didnt make too much mess as the dust collector was efficient. All in all it was a quick and easy job which saved me quite a bit of money. It was good value and more powerful than others that I had considered buying and came with a finger attachment for smaller awkward areas ( which I havent tried yet. )

Very good sander
Arrived on time , i used on first day as had to removed stain a varnish from handrails . The attachment for the finger sandpaper was easy to fix on and very good for getting between spindles . Easy to change back to normal mouse sander as well which had plenty of power to use . Little bonus think when doing darker areas it has a little light on it to show up what u are sanding .

Effective, but could use better build quality.
It is a good value for light to moderate sanding jobs, but if you need something for heavy-duty use, this might not be the best choice. If you’re looking for a good price sander for basic tasks, it’s worth considering.

Great sander
Great little sander. The attachment is great to get into smaller spaces. The only issue is that after a while the velcro doesn't stick to the smaller attachment but apart from that great purchase.

Excellent value - easy to use
This product is superb for the money. Over the years I have purchased many sanders for my woodwork and I might add they have been expensive. Well I can honestly say that this sander is superb value for money. First time I have had a dust collector that actually does what it is supposed to do without having to be attached to the nozzle of a hoover. I would highly recommend this brilliant product. This product proves that most expensive is not always the best.So easy and straightforward to attach the sandpaper.
