Was not easy to install, but I managed to install, good quality and reasonable price

The installation on my Q50 required the use of force to compress the struts a few millimeters to be able to install them.Otherwise they hold the weight of the trunk very well balanced, but the end of the opening have not much dampening, so the trunk bounces a bit hard when reaching the full-open position.

It solve the problem for the infinti q50 trunk.But it is not easy to install, beacase it's a little loonger than OEM , so you need to push the trunk up as much u can . <<< believe me I thought I will break it.

Tight fit for 2015 Q50, as it's a bit longer than oem.Put in the bottom section first, then push the trunk up/open more while pulling on the strut horizontally towards the top ball mount location and it will snap into place.

Secure fit. Must have the correct tool — something to compress each strut. It took me awhile to figure out how to make the fit work but the results are wonderful. Trunk doesn’t slam and needs a gentle push to close securely.

Purchased this for my 2015 Q50 premium. Removed my old ones but could not install these aftermarket struts after trying for over an hour. This product does not fit and will not fit. Wasted $16 for nothing.

Great fit. Relatively easy to install, just had to push the trunk lid almost past the limit to get the strut in. Now the trunk opens so easily.

These are perfect. I added 3 layers of sound deadening to my trunk after a subwoofer install so the stock ones were not very good at holding up my trunk, especially when closing (it would basically just slam down). I bought these off advice from someone else and am 100% happy with the purchase.
