Update at bottom (still happy)I originally ordered this set because it seemed like the best bet for the price. Getting something from the major brands was a bit of a stretch.I'll go through all the details below, as of this writing I've only installed them and driven around town. I've also got checked my roof cart rack but haven't traveled with it all loaded up.Installation:Super easy. I spent some time playing with it and learning, but I'm pretty sure I can pop these on and off with in 10 mins. NOTE the instructions don't tell you which direction to have the crossbar face, but the cross section is a aerofoil so you'll want the fat round end facing the front of the car.Security:They Key system seems to work great. Some of the took a bit of fiddling (not as smooth as your front door key).Looks:They look pretty daen good.Fit:These for the Kia Niro are great. Don't quote me but I'm pretty sure 2017 - 2019 are the same for roof racks. Once in there right I could shake the car with them and they didn't budge.Other:I didn't notice any extra noise or whistling so no complaints. If I don't update soon then assume everything remains true.UPDATE 9/27/19I went on two 3 hour road trips on back to back weekends. These guys performed great! I had a rack on top loaded to the nines with baby stuff. Nothing shifted, everything was secure. I even left the cross bars on for the last month being to lazy to take them off. With no radio and at highway speeds i can hear a low rumble wind noise from the bars but nothing annoying. Great product!

They went on pretty easily (probably 10-15 minutes to get everything adjusted), fit great and seem very sturdy. There is a bit of wind noise but that is to be expected from any rail added to the roofline. Great value considering I could have bought 2 sets and still had $$$ left over vs buying the ones from Kia

It’s hard to beat the price, especially compared the the main brands like Thule. I put these on my 2019 Kia Niro plug in hybrid. I chose these silver ones over the black ones just based on looks. There were no reviews for the silver ones at the time I bought them.Installation was fairly straightforward (I was able to do it myself in about an hour), but the instructions were considerably lacking. The instructions don’t say which way to orient the bars or how far apart to put them. Fortunately I had studied Thule instructions and knew that the fatter part of the bar faced the front and had ideas for spacing the bars.The good: the bars carried our cargo box well - hundreds of miles, up and down hills. We even bought a rooftop tent (120 lbs) and have driven that a few dozen miles. Four of us climbed into it for about ten minutes (probably 450-500 lbs), and it seemed to hold. We haven’t tried to sleep in it yet.The bad: these are very noisy. The plug in hybrid is very quiet with minimal road noise, so any faster than 45 MPH, we can hear the wind noise. It seems to get louder the faster you drive. If you have the radio on, it’s not as noticeable. But it can still be annoying.The other problem is that the bars seemed to have loosened their grip on the side rails after we had the rooftop tent on them. That’s a bit concerning, but I have yet to try to retighten everything.Minus one star for the noise. Minus one half star for poor installation instructions. Plus one half star for the price and seems to hold things as advertised. Equals four stars.

These were easy to install though had my wife help. Look nice. Had problems with the noise no matter where I put them. There's a cheap fix. Go to the Dollar Tree, buy some parachord and wrap around each bar (make sure to tie it off). Went from an issue around 55 MPH with the radio on to near 80 almost normal road noise.

When I bought these I was like... "Man! I don't know if these will work, and even if they do, I don't know how I will install them! But who cares because I can always return it." I read some reviews and they almost scared me off, but let me tell you my story after owning them for half a year now.I am never returning these. I love these. They took me all of five minutes to install, and they've been a delight ever since. In the second photo I posted you can see the hard top I've installed on them, which drove all the way from Los Angeles, CA to Austin, TX with absolutely no issues! I have a 2019 Kia Niro and these cross bars fit perfectly.I love these things... so much cheaper than other alternatives. I recommend them 150%

The racks themselves are good, but the cover and lock is made of plastic. I could break it with a screwdriver. Makes it a bit pointless. The covers also came with scratches on them since they are cheap plastic.Rack fits well in my 2020 Kia Niro Hybrid.

Quick shipping, easy instructions, took 8 minutes to pop on. The instructions didn't mention, but make sure the rounded side of the bar faces the front. It took a little fiddling to get everything super tight and locked, but really, very little fiddling. They look great, and I spaced my 24" apart to fit a cartop carrier. I didn't hear anything with the windows up and soft music playing. I'm really happy with this purchase! Bring on the road trips! I'll update with performance and durability after I've used it this year ...
