Do these have a seam in lower half of front pouch? Or is it smooth from inside?

It is smooth from inside👍 the quality of the material is actually very good aswel.

Are these absorbent for bed wetting?

No they are the regular boxer shorts. Mothercare does the absorbent type but they only come in Yfront ‘design’ (not boxer shorts).

What size would fit 5 year old? Is is true size?

We had order 4-5 year size for our son who is average build for his age. At the time he was 4.5 ( turning 5 soon) and pants still fit him quite well so on this basis, i can say these are true size. Its always a bit tricky to buy online but even if you order two different sizes, you will not be disappointed as quality is great and our son absolutely loves them. i hope this helps!
