So good, even Men's Health mag recommends it
QUICK SUMMARY: I decided to choose a few diet supplements and begin regularly taking them with my meals, hopefully to help maintain a healthy lifestyle. When doing research on what my options were, I decided to go with a multi-vitamin. Among multi-vitamins, Centrum Silver was notable for the accolades its received, and for being very affordable. Recommended! BACKGROUND: I've never consistently taken diet supplements of any sort, yet I have enjoyed very good, overall health for years. As I've grown older, though, I thought it best to consider adding some diet supplements to help maintain my lifestyle. After researching multi-vitamins, both the pros and the cons, I've determined that there's a greater probability that they will help my health than harm it. So, if I could find an affordable multi-vitamin that also has good efficacy, I was game. My research led me to Centrum Silver. Why Centrum Silver for Men? Do a search for "Centrum Silver Research" and you'll see recent articles that say that Centrum Silver was linked to an 8% reduction of cancer risk for men. That's hardly a huge benefit -- unless you are the one who didn't get cancer because you were taking a multi-vitamin! Do another search for "best multi-vitamin for men" on the Men's Health magazine website, and you'll find that this young man's magazine actually lists Centrum Silver (made for men 50+) as a top multi-vitamin choice. Overall, Centrum Silver for Men (gotta get that lycopene some way for your you-know-what) seems like a good choice. Now, compare its cost with the premium multi-vitamins that are available, and you'll have to decide whether you want to spend ten cents a day or a whole lot more than that (to get a bunch of vitamins and minerals that you should be getting anyway if you ate the way you know you're supposed to eat). For me, I'll happily spend ten cents a day and hope for the best than spend 50 cents or more a day for a different multi-vitamin (and still l'll just be hoping for the best).

My husband liked it enough to ask me to order more!
My husband actually requested more of these & wives know that is a major plus. I feel better knowing that he is taking these because it is hard for us to eat as well as we should. I asked if he could tell a difference when he's taking them vs not & he thought for a few & nodded. (That is the equivalent of someone else jumping up & down screaming yes! Yes! Yes!!! Normally I would get a grunt if it's good & A stare if not. (I'm kidding he is actually a rare verbal male.) So I can give them a yes! Go for it & feel better. Maybe you will start to talk more & actually share feelings & get emotional...wait I think that's the female vitamins. Too much coffee! Seriously he doesn't get heartburn with these & seems to have more energy.

One of the Top Three Rated Multivitamins for Quality and Price, Per Independant Lab Tests
t can be frustrating buying vitamins, since it is difficult to evaluate and compare various brands for effectiveness, and one rarely feels a cause and affect within an hour or two of taking the vitamin, so that there is a clear cause and effect. It seems that one simply takes vitamins over an extended period of time, and one must make a subjective judgement as to how any supplement contributes or affects one health, in context of everything else that they have been ingesting. With a headache, you can judge the effectiveness, as with anti-histamines, pain pills, and the like, but there is no immediate relief that can be judged by a vitamin. I have taken a wide array of vitamins and minerals in strong doses for an extended period of time, and not notice feeling any better. I can stop taking all vitamins and supplements, and can hardly tell any difference in how I feel. how can you really evaluate vitamins? I have read some recent studies that say that there are no objective results that prove the effectiveness of multivitamins, which I find hard to believe, but that is the crux of the problem. I finally discovered a consumer research service called ConsumerLab that evaluates the claims of vitamins and checks for valid claims, and the trustworthiness of ingredients, and then shows the least expensive quality product. What a find. Spoiler Alert: ConsumerLab rated Centrum Silver Multivitamins as being of high quality, and also being one of the top three values of multivitamins on the market. I'll have to go with their research, as I simply can't tell you how various vitamins compare based upon how vitamins make me feel.
