Super Fast Photo Stick for iPhone
I uploaded 400+ photos & videos from my iPhone. When it is done, it gives you the number of photos/videos it uploaded. It also says how many it could not upload. I was disappointed that it did not delete the pics/videos that it uploaded. I’m not sure how I’m supposed to know which ones it didn’t upload. I can’t delete any of the photos on my phone until I know if it has been backed up. Frustrating. But I have peace of mind knowing that 99% have been uploaded.

Love the concept, hard for this old Lady to set up.
I love the concept of the Photo Stick, however the instructions were difficult for me to understand. It probably was me, anyway I’m planning to give it a try again when I can focus on what I’m doing.

Can't get all my photos to load.
Personally, I'm having trouble getting all my photos to load on it. The process stops less than midway and I'm not sure what the problem is. I'm not saying it's a tech issue though. It could be me.

Backing up Photos in the iPhone is a Breeze
I bought a previous one for my laptop. This new unit is for my iPhone. Works as expected. The only difference with the laptop version is the need to download & use the accompanying app.

If I could put a BIG FAT ZERO star…
This is one of the worse products out there in all aspects of product. From the iPhoto Stick not working and failing with multiple inquiries to the company to the worse customer service I’ve ever encountered. I bought the two sticks…for iPhone and usb and BOTH do not work. I purchased these items in April. I finally got a chance to get to try them out about three weeks ago and it’s been nothing but aggravation since. I could not try them out when I purchased them because the day after I purchased them, my mother was diagnosed with stage three aggressive melanoma on top of her head and from then on it was put to the side because of having to care for her through surgeries, immunotherapy treatments and radiation treatments. Lo and behold if you have to wait to try them out DO NOT DO IT later. Even though their product does not work they will not refund your money or even do an exchange because all they want is your money. Yes I had to wait before I could try it out because family comes first. Always will BUT a good company would work with you on making their product right. I will also be contacting the Better Business Bureau and filing a complaint with them. I normally don’t do this but because of their defective product, I’ve lost about 90 pictures off my phone that were precious pictures of my mom with her grandkids and I can’t get them back at all. Yes, maybe you think im being way emotional because of circumstances but if my mom did not go thru what she did, I’d still be writing this review. Your customer service and quality of product is the worse thing ever!!! DON NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!

Product works as described
I liked that it performed as described, and that I was able to manage my photos and videos as never before.

Fail.
I think the concept of a USB/lighting combo to backup our mobile photos is a really amazing idea. To have an app that helps do the work is also a great feature. But my experience with ThePhotoStick is less than stellar. To set the stage, I have over 12K images on my phone. Back when we COULD get images from our phones with a simple plug in via USB cord, I could upload a weeks worth and know I had them backed up. Well so much not the case anymore...so I finally came across ThePhotoStick Mobile option. The very first time I plugged it into my phone (using an iphone 7, with most recent iOS) it appeared that it backed up about 3K files, and then randomly quit. Ok - no big deal. So I tried it again, I watched it back up those same files it just backed up (it shows the file names as it backs up), and then quit again at about 30%. Unplugging for 30 seconds or whatever the directions suggest, wasn't working. There is a red light that you can kind of see on the photostick, and mine would be solid light, then it would blink nonstop. I even tried to do a backup while typing this - and within 3 minutes the error I got was "ThePhotostick Mobile Not Accesible Your ThePhotostick Mobile device appears to have disconnected or is no longer accessible, so the backup can not contineu. Please unplug then plug back in your ThePhotoStick device, then try to backup again." And it only backed up 1090 files and 4 failed. So...Sorry guys. It's a no go for me. Fail big time. I'm giving it one star for the concept. My experience was worth taking away the other 4 stars. Maybe I got a faulty stick. Maybe my phone sucks. Either way? It ain't happening here.
