This book is great. Beautiful illustrations, lots of information, and fun things to find along the way. My only suggestion would be to have a little map showing where the dinosaur lived in the world on each page with the dinosaur so the child can get a feel for where each dinosaur lived. As it is this info is all separate at the back of book so it's not easily accessible or memorable.This book is authored by a native English speaking author which makes it more understandable for the child.This is probably too much information for a younger child.

Perfect for dinosaur lovers from preschool through elementary school. My preschooler loves looking at the pictures and learning all the names. The facts and information is perfect for your growing kids. I love how the book is organized by Dino size. Pictures are beautiful and there is always more for my kid to discover

This book is great because you can level up or down depending on the child’s age/ability. There are lots of facts but you don’t have to read them all. There is a handy map in the back that shows you where certain dinosaurs lived and also a glossary. But my favorite part is a section dedicated to activity ideas related to the book that parents can do with their kids. This is a lifesaver for long rainy days or even in the summer when parents are running out of things to entertain their kids! Highly recommend. My 6 year old loves it.

Bought for grand daughter but will put it away. Its graphic and scary with some of the pictures.

This book is absolutely beautiful. I love the large color pictures, pronunciation guide (soooo helpful!), and information about the different dinosaurs. The only thing I feel it is missing is a timeline with a list of all the dinosaurs. I think a 2-page spread of a timeline with place marks for all the dinosaurs mentioned in this book would be a great addition. There is a very small note in the back about when the different periods were, but I got through over half the book before going looking for “which period was when?”I do have one small complaint about the shipping, I got this and several other books that came in a box slightly larger than them, but it was probably tossed around during shipping and the corners on two of the books got a bit smashed. I thought about returning it so I could have perfect books, but decided not to as my son will probably do more damage to them later.Highly recommend for any parents (or even any adult that likes dinosaurs, this doesn’t have to just be for kids!) Great to read while your kid is strapped in their high chair and can’t tear the pages. I much prefer reading this during meal times compared to just putting the TV on (which is my son’s usual request).

My grandkids love to read and they love dinosaurs. It is a good resource book on them.
