Melnor XT Metal 7-Pattern Hose Nozzle: Rear Trigger, Slip-Resistant Grip

Works great, patterns are distinct, good water pressure, solid construction, easy thread on and no leaking; you don't feel too bad being just a bit rough with it. Doesn't feel terribly cheap. When I had an issue with the entire front sprayer cracking off the seller was very helpful and had a streamlined replacement process. As you can see from the cracked cross section there is a pretty decent layer of rubber and hard plastic inside. I'd recommend it.

This nozzle is great for any kind of watering because of its 7 watering patterns - we usually stick with shower, but the others are great too. It is made from solid materials and stands up to weather and difficulty to damage (it's been run over by our cars and still works), but it's not too heavy, and the adjustable knob on the back lets you adjust the pressure needed when squeezing. While I can't pretend to be an expert, this seems to be great for the price, and I just ordered some extras!

From the moment you hold it, this nozzle feels like a quality item. Its heavy-duty metal core and sturdy rear-trigger design convey confidence—no flimsy plastics here. As one satisfied owner put it, “it’s all metal‑y and tough, like they built it to survive the apocalypse”. Whether you’re blasting dirt from patio stones or gently misting delicate blooms, this nozzle is built to withstand whatever you throw its way. Melnor says it is crafted from industrial-grade materials with a protective coating, it’s designed to resist corrosion and flex through all-season use. It has seven distinct spray modes, from gentle mist to full-pressure jet, this nozzle is versatile enough for plant care, car washing, and heavy-duty cleaning. The metal adjustment dial turns smoothly and stays reliable even after extended use, and the rear trigger feels well-balanced—firm, responsive, and comfortable, with a built-in lock for hands-free watering. Its included QuickConnect adapter makes attaching and detaching an absolute breeze. Many users note consistent, leak-free connections—in rare cases where leaks emerge, they’re minor and often eliminated with a tight seal and proper tightening. With a price typically around $12–13, you’re getting metal-grade build quality far beyond most nozzles in this price range. Backed by Melnor’s lifetime limited warranty, it’s clear this product is meant to last a lifetime—not just a season. I purchased one last spring and subsequently replaced the other cheap alternatives on each of my other hoses. The Melnor truly stands out in a market saturated with disposable plastic nozzles. It feels industrial-grade, delivers exceptional performance across all spray settings, and is backed by real-world durability—leak-resistant, pressure-resilient, and confidently built for hard use. It’s a garden hose accessory you buy once and rely on for years. If you’re tired of replacing cheap nozzles every season, this is your long-lasting solution! Recommended for: gardeners seeking reliable quality; homeowners tackling varied watering tasks; anyone who values tools that stand the test of time.

Very good quality, sturdy.

I highly recommend his nozzle. It is well built and solid. It is actually hard to find a quality hose nozzle that doesn't feel cheap or breaks within a short period of time. After growing weary of constantly replacing our nozzles, I am so glad we found this one. We have had it for over a year and just purchased another one.

Probably my favorite brand for anything water related. Works good no issues. Prays well. The adjusting dial works as expected. The only problem I’ve ever had is the o-ring pop out which isn’t a super big deal just throw it back in and it’s fine. Good water pressure.

Heavy duty metal construction. Trigger provides very good flow control. Trigger lock allows unattended watering. Varied spray patterns give you everything from gently mist for delicate waterings to full-force to blast off dirt. The biggest failure with most nozzle is that they don't shut-off complete. The handle has a coated grip so that the nozzle doesn't slip out of your hand. This one does. It's built for heavy use and provides a great value for the money.

Love this nozzle! It feels really solid in the hand. I have poor water pressure and the jet setting on this actually surprised me. The clicks between settings feel firm and flow well. Definitely worth the buy if you are in the market.

Simple designs wins. Sturdy, basis. I like it, lasted longer (sill going strong) than the cheapest ones obviously

Die Melnor Gartenspritze ist sehr stabil, vielleicht etwas schwerer als andere. Die Verarbeitung ist gut.

Excelentes materiales, muy resistentes

Demasiado pesada, pero parece que aguanta bien el sol

As the title suggests, a quality nozzle with good feel and control that can take a beating but a very brittle plastic connector that has split with very little usage.
