Scholastic I Spy Fun House [Old Version]

My children are 5 and 7 and have no difficulty playing this game without support. Their favorite feature is that they can hear the text read to them and click to have the text re-read at any time. When they find and click on the items in the pictures, most of them play an animation with sound. Some will repeat, but some will only play the first time you find them. Best of all, this is a game that claims to work on an Intel Mac and actually does. I only had to install it once and it works on all the accounts on our computer. There are no hiccups, no secret handshakes to get it to work, and my children don't have to force-quit every fifteen minutes like they do with other games.

It's a great game. It's one of my son's favorite games. Some things are easy to find, some are not, and my son needs some help. I wish the games could be easy, medium and harder. The instructions about what to do first aren't clear, but it's possible to figure them out after playing for some time. Like, you can't go to the Fun House unless you win 11 tickets. And then you can open only one door. But it's still a good game.

Very happy with this, although we had a little trouble with understanding directions on one part. My grandson and I have played I Spy Treasure Hunt and I Spy Spooky Mansion, both of which are outstanding. This one I'd rate a step below those, but still a lot of fun, with colorful pictures and cleverly hidden objects.

in a world of Steam games this "old school" game is amazing! Highly recommend it.

I have a 5 and 3yr old. They both love this game. My 5yr old can play by himself b/c you can have it read to you. My 3 yr old helps find the items.

When my grandkids and daughter stayed with us for awhile my grandson and I checked out EVERY ISPY book from two different libraries. I was glad to see this listed for sale. I sent it to my grandson (now 7) and not only he is loving it, but his 13-year old sister loves it, too!

great game. kids love playing and want to play all the time. Worked great o my computer.

Great game for those who enjoy the I Spy computer games and books. Could use a bit more instruction as per navigation, otherwise excellent fun for our 6 year old.
