Jangali Lavashak, Fruit Roll Snack, 1 Pound(16 OZ)

These are pretty tasty and have a bit of a sour taste to them which is authentic to the real Persian Lavashak which are made with not very ripe plums. First time I ordered them I bit into one and really didn’t like the taste and texture. Later on I realized there are 3 thin slices on top of each other. Once I started peeling them off one by one I really liked them.

They’re pretty good! It is a small amount for the price, but the listing is acurate about the quantity. You’ll probably like these if you enjoy prunes and slightly tart flavors.

It wasn’t as flavorful as lavashak usually is, but the quality and the texture is on point

It tastes good but for the price, I expected something super tasty just like the ones they used to make at my grandma's time.

It is very hard ( almost impossible) to find jangali lavashak in the US except from some speciality stores. Jangali is the best lavashak brand you can get. Thank you Amazon for carrying it. The price is high for the quantity but it is in the market price range. Please note lavashak is an acquired taste. It is translated as fruit roll but it will taste nothing like the supermarket brand fruit rolls in the US. Lavashak is boiled and dehydrated fruits , without sugar. I is never supposed to be sweet. It is sour based on what fruit it is made of ( apple and strawberries will be sweeter. Plums, pomegranate and sour cherry lavashak won’t be sweet)

Doesn't have a production or expiration date, tastes really off and way too expensive for the small portions
