Wrong kind of projects for me was maybe 2 that I would make or use

I've tried for days to download the templates promised without any luck. When I click the link provided, I get a weird page that has nothing to do with fat quarters. There seems to be no way to contact the publishers. I am so angry, and there seems to be nothing I can do about it. I can't even seem to get any help from Amazon. I gave it 0 stars, but Amazon made me give it one.

Bought this for myself to use up lots of fabric. Templates are not to size but "you can download full size templates at ideas.sewandso.co.uk EXCEPT YOU CAN'T which renders most of the book useless!

Some nice ideas... however you can't just get the patterns and sew . You have to photocopy at so many at different percentage (if you have access to a photocopier) or download ..This is another task.. you have to find the website..register which it says can take up.to hour to send you a link.. download if they are still available???All I wanted to do was a sewing project today!!!! I'm still waiting!!! Very disappointed and frustrated.. I already paid over £11 for the book then the fat quarter's...and I can't use the patterns.. the alphabet in a bag pattern needs to be copied at 600%I have a book that looks good but not usable.. I'm gutted!! I'm glad I didn't get it for a gift for someone...Information needs to be clear in the product info!!!Very diassapointed. JC.

I love this book! It's been my first time sewing anything and I'm a complete beginner, however I've made a skirt for my toddler and 2 of the ditsy teddy's which are cute! You can download and print all of the templates which is really helpful. Can't wait to start my next project! This book has inspired me to start making other things too. I only wish it explained the steps in a little more detail, as for example it says "finish the seam allowance". As a beginner I didn't know what that meant however to be honest I don't think the book is actually aimed at complete novices! More for sewers who know what they're doing but have some fat quarters they need some inspiration for to use. The larger pieces look fantastic to make. I might attempt the barnyard playmat!

I bought this as a present and the recipient has told me that the instructions for enlarging the patterns for printing are incorrect. The book does have several rather nice items to make, but having to work out where the instructions are wrong doesn't make life simple! For example, the cat-shaped door stop pattern says to enlarge by 200%. Unless you have a huge, medieval style, oak door to prop open, this will be far too large and it certainly won't be cut from a fat quarter of fabric! In contrast, the bag for inside said door stop is miniscule and too small to be useful. So, rather a DIY affair. I'm not impressed

Book is too old for free templates, registered for the site and still not available. Book published 2015 latest backlog 2019.Templates in book for curious cat doorstop don’t show where to put the tail( easy to figure out) same for paws and head. If experienced at sewing you can figure it out but no good for novice!
