Easy to use and comfortable
Had for over a month now, really like it. Easy to change the angle of it, and locks in place just fine. I probably press too hard on it at times, but it still holds up just fine. Pillow top is conformable, and hasn't "flattened" yet, and I use it 10+ hours a day.Only weird quirk, the bottom metal base has slightly bent, probably from the force of me pushing. But doesn't affect its usability.Update at 5 months:Still love it, I don't even "think" about it anymore, it's just a part of my desk setup. Wouldn't feel right without it now. Base hasn't bent any more, just a bit as I mentioned in my first review above.Update at 1.5 years:Works exactly as it did brand new, my feet still rest on it nearly all day, pressing quite hard at times. Simple upgrade I did was to add a little velcro strip between the pillow top and the base just so the pillowtop stays in one place better. Otherwise, still love it and works perfectly.Update at 2.5 years:This beast is still an amazing champ of a footrest. Mechanically this this is perfect, even with the heavy leadfoot weight I have pushed onto this thing. The metal plate I mentioned before that kinda warped, well that hasn't gotten any worse, and it's not any hinderance to me either way. Still works amazing.HOWEVER! Finally the leather-type material covering the cushion has over the last 6 months started to break apart. It now looks like an old 1980's fake leather couch that is splitting all over. But, even still, it is comfortable and I would 100% still recommend this. Amplifies your computer veg-time greatly!

Exactly as expected
I have 2 simple complaints about this footstool: the base is a bit small, and this isn't very sturdy. I didn't get it to stand on or anything, but adjusting the position of your feet will rock the unit in some positions. It's not dangerous, or anything, just not a solid feeling. The other issue is that the top pad slides around a lot. It hasn't fallen off, but there's a lot of strain on 2 velcro straps, and they don't have a true channel or anything they run through so there's some wear going on that lowers their lifespan. The unit folds up nicely, and once you get the hang of the adjustments it's easy to configure. I've put a considerable amount of force on the joints simply to test things out and they've held up. I'm very happy with the construction quality of the armatures. The pad is the only thing that holds back my rating. it needs some form of attachment feature at the top and bottom to prevent it from rotating around it's straps. Otherwise, very happy.

Surprising.
I didn't have any super high expectations with this. But I've got to say, if it can hold my feet up comfortably with my heavy legs, then it has my stamp of approval.Something to note is that by default it doesn't have grips underneath so it slides around alot but since I use it in it's tallest setting underneath my desk and I shift my position around alot it actually works in my benefit that it slides. I believe it does come with some optional grips to keep it from sliding but you might want to jerry rig something stronger to keep it firmly in place. Also the foot rest padding is a 'B' at best, I think a faux leather might have felt more comfortable than the cloth material but they probably chose this option for its durability. Might replace the padding cover myself down the road.

The hinges can't take it in the long run
Was quite handy and useful. The bidirectional angle controls made it relatively simple to position the foot rest at the angle I wanted, whether I was reclining away from or in a more forward position. Unfortunately, it apparently could not stand up to regular use, breaking in a mere 22 months. It appears that the hinges need to be reinforced, as the hinge peeled away from the surrounding plastic.

Collapses easily
Faulty. Lowest height setting collapses. Second height setting semi collapses. Since those are the settings I need the most, It has made this product entirely useless to me. Waste of $64. It's stupid how it's even allowed to sell a faulty product especially on a large scale.

Great for the mobility challenged
We bought this item for my mother-in-law who has mobility issues and can’t wait to see how well it helps. It’s well built and requires very little assembly.

It helped a lot
I really liked this product. My feet swell and I had to have something while I was camping

Flimsy and narrow
Two stars for the versatility and what it COULD be. I wish I had read the negative reviews before buying. WAY too narrow, feet have to basically be right next to each other or there is no room (and no I am not a huge footed person lol), on the flimsy side so it bends and gives when you actually put your feet or ankles or whatever on it and slides all over the place even with the slip pads (I think because it is meant to be portable so it’s mostly plastic and very light) so might be a great product for someone who needs to carry this thing around but I doubt there are many people looking for that.
