Love the helmet it feels good to have it on noise reduction and the lighting in the back perfect for night time riding.

Anyone who's bought a motorcycle helmet online knows it can be a crapshoot - but I am really, really pleased with this one! It's very comfortable, fits absolutely true to sizing, is fairly lightweight compared to others I have and operates easily and smoothly. And it stays put at, ahem, high speeds. I was looking for an all matte black helmet and then I added the dark visor (very easy to change out, by the way) and cat ears (from helmet flair) and it's a bada$$ look, too! I love the added visibility the light offers, though I would take off maybe half a star for the battery compartment being a bit cheaply constructed. Folks are always talking about helmets being noisy or not... I ride naked sport bikes (no windshield whatsoever) so every helmet I've ever worn is "loud" with 80+ mph coming straight at me - so I don't have any opinion to offer there except it's no louder or quieter than any of my other helmets (some inexpensive, some not inexpensive...) Normally I don’t leave reviews but since this is a product involving safety, I’ll give it a go. This is a fantastic helmet and budget friendly. I’ve worn about four different full face helmets and this is by far the most comfortable one for me personally. The internal padding is great and perfectly snug (I bought a small, and am a woman). A few features I love include the blinking light in the back, offering an extra measure of safety for night riders. I absolutely love the side lever the pops the tinted shades in and out. I’ve had shade son other full headed helmets, but none that pop in and out so seamlessly. The bottom jaw piece that also goes up is very sturdy and also moves seamlessly. I couldn’t be happier with the product. Was not expecting something of this quality for the price. Riding down from Jersey to Faytona Florida on my FatBob so I will give an update after my 13 our ride. Thank you!

I went over the handlebars at 20mph, landing mostly on my shoulder. I broke my clavicle and got road rash in six places. My head, face, and neck, were fine. I attribute that to my ILM helmet. My helmet got scratches that look like they prevented significant road rash/concussion, and possible facial/skull fracture. Regarding the helmet itself, it’s comfortable and easy to adjust/remove the strap. The sun visor is a nice feature.

ILM-902L (XL matte black-LED). Amazon 2-day delivery. It's that time of year again. Even in E-Texas, the evenings are getting cold again. I'm riding all year round. I used the helmet for the first time last night. Dry, 49 degrees Fahrenheit. The helmet fits like a glove. Wind noise is kept out very well. No earbuds necessary. I'm riding with a large windscreen. No wobbling. The quick-release buckle works perfectly. The sun visor lever is easy to find and safe to use. The light at the back of the helmet is def a plus, and it works. The main visor has secure clicks. However, it fogs up very quickly on the inside. You have to keep it open up to 35 mph, otherwise, it fogs up. Not a problem in Texas, where it's rarely below 45 degrees Fahrenheit, but it's still cold on the face in city traffic. I recommend an ILM heated visor for winter riding. The sliding flaps on top of the helmet are easy to operate. Unfortunately, they rattle quite a bit, which makes listening to the radio very difficult. Still a good buy.

I recommend measuring your head then ordering 2 sizes up. I really liked the helmet but it said it was frequently returned for being too small. I measured my head which was 22 inches which according to the size chart would be a small…I ordered the large instead and it fits PERFECTLY AND SO COMFORTABLE! I can even fit my ear buds or headphones in my ears with it on comfortably. I also have hair extensions and it doesn’t irritate those at all especially with all of the air vents. I’ve had a lot of motorcycle helmets and this one is by far the best one all around! The inside padding is so comfortable and the fact that it has a sun visor I can easily flip up or down so I don’t have to worry about sunglasses being uncomfortable on long rides is a major plus!

So, first, what I like: Some may think this a negative, but this helmet is much heavier than my Orz helmet which makes it feel like it’s much more substantially constructed. The helmet’s main and secondary visors move nicely with the lever for the secondary visor in a convenient place that doesn’t get obstructed by my Bluetooth intercom. The interior of the helmet is thoughtfully designed with channels in the foam for installing a wired headset and deep recesses for speakers. The interior padding is comfortable and sits snugly against your head creating a feeling of safety. The only negatives I have are mostly surrounding the build tolerances. The helmet is noisy. There’s a lot of wind noise and whistling when not behind the bikes windscreen. Today is the first time I got caught in the rain wearing this helmet. As I was wiping the visor, I found streaks I couldn’t clear and discovered that it was water running down the inside of the visor and obstructing a clear view of the road. The only other observation I have is that the airflow isn’t fantastic. The air current inside the helmet feels the same whether the vents are open or closed and that flow isn’t directed down the inside of the visor so an anti-flog shield is pretty much a necessity. So, not certain I would buy this one again. I really like the quality feel, comfort and forethought of building it to accommodate an headset, but would really want something that had better performance for sound, airflow and waterproofing.

Meet expectation

Bought this to ride my electric scooter around town. There is fog that builds up when you're stopped, but the vents work effectively to clear the fog once you start moving again. The rear light is great at night when you need to be seen. The fit is comfortable, but may not work for some depending on the shape of your head, how much hair you have and the size. I measured within the "medium" size on the chart where it fits very snug, but some may need to go up one size. Edit: Oct 08,2023 - Had a terrible spill while riding with full gear on including this helmet. The rear LED light visor popped out and the plastic broke, there is visible damage on the helmet itself, but this is not me being critical of this helmet. This helmet saved my life. I didn't feel any negative impact when my helmet made contact with the concrete because the padding was thick enough to protect my head, and the outer shell of the helmet was strong enough to withstand the impact. I WILL be purchasing another one of these helmets. Helmets save lives. Wear them.

This helmet is spectacular. Very comfortable, I love the fact that I can flip the face open very easily to have a conversation, face recognition on my phone, fresh air, etc. The other super cool thing is the easy flip down sun shades. These actually work really well I would hate to have to wear sunglasses inside of these. The only thing that needs improvement, is where the battery pack inserts for the lights. Once you install batteries, they will consistently fall out and dangle on the back of your neck while you are riding your motorcycle. I solve this issue by putting some Velcro onto the battery pack and inside the slot where it goes. It no longer falls out. This is something they should do at production. Other than that, perfect product. I am very happy with this purchase
