PERFECT WHEEL FOR BEGGINERS
This wheel is perfect for me, my only complaint is the mounting system. Its hard to screw into a table or desk. Very good grip on the wheel, the paddle shifters are solid metal and feels very good.

OK. I have been a player of Grand Turismo since number GT1. After all these years I thought I would get a racing wheel and pedals. So I bought this Thrustmaster T80 Ferrari 488 GTB Edition and talk about improvement! WOW. No more silly annoying twitches because of the joy stick on the joy pad. Smoother reaction, better on cornering, braking and the last couple of days, I've been trying out the gear shift panels. It's strange and I keep my ears on the revs and shift that way, as I use that method when driving on the road for real. I tend not to look at the rev counter, as its a distraction that can have disastrous result. A driver, in my opinion should have full awareness of the road in front of them and being alert and aware of everything that goes on around them. Don't get me started with people who use mobile phones while driving! All I can say is, if your starting out for thr first time, this setup is more than ideal. It will give you what you need and at a great price. Don't compromise on quality, buy this and give it a try. I built the rig myself out of reclaimed wood. I still need to build a proper car racing seat base unit to add on to what is already built. Thank you Thrustmaster for showing me the future of racing. 5 Star rating deserved. Stay safe out there peeps. 🙏
