This guild book does NOT come with a fold out map of Budapest.If you buy other Rick Steves books Look for the phrase"Detailed maps and directions, including a fold-out map for exploring on the go"This book did not have this phrase in the description of the book.The book is well written and very useful. Just wished it came with the fold-out map like some of his other books.There are lots of black and white maps in the book.

I felt I was reading a book more than a guide. Very into details and with lots of suggestions that I haven’t found somewhere else.Excellent hotel recommendations, even discovered ones that are not the usually mentioned ones.Great read and guide

If you are new to international travel, please buy Rick Steve's. His guidebooks are amazing. He hits the high points that you want to know about, tells you about them and how to get there. He also offers free audible walking tours that you don't want to miss. I just bought this Budapest version and cant comment on those tours since the trip is in December, but his audible tour through the Forum in Rome is perfect.

It's a typical travel guide.

This item provides all the information regarding location and value of all the places to stay, places to eat and a good explanation of what there is to see and do at each attraction. We used this book to maximize our time spent by helping us select those venues that appealed to our tastes.

I love to travel and when I travel, I love to have a plan. I have read many different travel guides and blogs over the years but I always end up buying Risk Steves travel guides for myself and friends. I trust and value his opinion. If he suggests that a tourist attraction is the best, I'm going and if he indicates that something can be skipped if there isn't enough time, well I trust that too. His book provides the full scope of what to expect, tips and tricks and in addition to the main attractions, he shares non touristy bits as well.

Used the book for travel in Budapest. Rick Steves always has lots of concrete tips. We stayed in one of his recommended hotels (Gerloczy Boutique Hotel and Cafe) on Gerloczy Street (District 5) and it was excellent. Great food at the cafe as well!!
