I'll preface this by saying I generally don't like being up on ladders. With that said, I did need one for reaching HVAC filters and such inside my polebarn. This fits the bill and is incredibly stable and the upper steps, even for me as a gentleman of "extra gravity." It's also light enough to maneuver around pretty handily. Overall I would definitely buy it again.

Great ladder! I love this thing. Pros: - VERY stable, even at 8 ft. The additional "legs" at the bottom contribute greatly to this stability. It is very confidence building when working at the top of the ladder's range. - Collapses to smaller heights so it is easier to maneuver through doorways Cons: - Heavier than a 6' fiberglass (but it goes to 8 so not really a valid comparison) - Wheels are only marginally useful - Note this items does not include the extra tray at the top of the ladder. Others: - Packaging was almost completely destroyed when it arrived, but the ladder was still in great shape.

I bought this ladder to use with my old ladder to hold scaffoling, but it;s 1 inch too narrow. I'm a 64 yr old women and it's also quite heavy for me to handle.

6 years later, this ladder is still going strong, being transported back and forth to job sites 5 days a week. Keep it clean and keep all of the moving parts lubricated (wheels, locking mechanisms, areas that rub when raising/lowering ladder height) and it'll probably live forever. Other than the stickers peeling off and a bit of rubber loss on the feet, mine still looks like new. If I had to, I'd buy it again immediately, even for the $100 price increase it's accrued since I bought mine. If you want a great adjustable A-frame that'll last forever and turn some heads on the job, pick one up. Can't begin to count how many times I've had guys standing around looking it over like a Corvette at a car show.

I recently purchased the Little Giant 15130-001 5-8 feet Select Step Fiberglass ladder. This was a house warming gift for our son and daughter-in-Law located in another city. As such, I have not personally used the ladder but my son reports that Dad made the right decision in selecting this particular ladder as they go about minor remodeling efforts on an older, single story house. They report that the ladder performs as advertised and its adjustable height and configuration fully meet the requirements of a medium length, combination extension ladder. Delivery service was excellent. The product arrived on time as noted, without damage. The ladder gets five stars for quality and innovation,

This ladder replaces several other ladders and keeps space down in my van. The fact I only have to carry the one ladder all day makes it easy to determine which ladder I need. The ladder is heavy and noisier than others, but for what it does a very small price to pay. Any one in service or is incredibly short should have one of these. I happen to be both, so I love it.

This ladder really does live up to the hype. If you have ever seen the demonstration videos, they extend and retract the ladder with minimal effort. After just a few minutes of practice, I was doing the same. The ladder is heavier than most other ladders. however, the flexibility of this ladder allows me to transport it in my Mazda 3 while still having the function of an 8 foot ladder. Perfect for my needs. The top step provides a very comforting platform that doubles as the handle for folding and opening the ladder. I really appreciated this feature. Overall, this ladder exudes extra sturdy. However, as mentioned in other reviews the wheels are of limited value. Also, both the wheels and the plastic caps on the feet do not match the ruggedness of the rest of the ladder. The only other negative was also mentioned by other reviews. This ladder shipped directly from the manufacturer and the packaging was less than adequate for an Item as heavy as this.

To start off, when the ladder arrived, it was not as advertised. The air deck that was supposed to be included was not in the box. After a call to Amazon, they made it right and provided a credit on the purchase to cover the purchase of a separate airdeck for the ladder. Once the airdeck arrived, it was time to use the ladder to clean out some gutters.The height of the ladder with the airdeck was just high enough to get me right against the house to clear my gutters with ease. This was on uneven ground and around some bushes that have a thick coating of mulch. cleared all of the gutters on the 1st floor in record time and had a place to keep my tools while I was doing it.
