the ematic mp3 player was the BEST and a replacement for my old iphone 4s that broke ressently:( but anyways, whats so funny this mp3 player when you upload a video to this is a nokia watching youtube bacicly but i dont care since i never use a nokia before.

This is by far, one of the worst purchases made I’ve made on Amazon. When I tell you this thing is garbage, I sincerely mean it. If I could give negative stars I would. It won’t turn on, unless plugged in to power source. When plugged it, it’s impossible to transfer any data to it. I have several computers with different operating systems so somehow I can’t chock this one up to operator error. This thing is just garbage. Don’t spend your time or money on it.

This thing is surprisingly really good. Audio is good, plays video, and I believe it has a picture viewer. I haven't used that feature yet, but I imagine it's just as good as the other parts.Seriously, READ THE MANUAL! I'm one of those people who don't really read manuals and just wing it. This one is actually really confusing and you will need to read the instructions or nothing will work, or it won't work the way you want it to.Example? To press play you actually press the power button. The interface is so utterly confusing sometimes.Also the other thing that may suck is the video player. Holding the player in certain angles will wash out the system. From too light to see, to almost a negative of the video. I found that looking straight on causes a washed out look. Best to view from slightly above.Otherwise than this, it's a pretty solid device that doesn't break in the heat like other mp3 players. Apart from the weird menu system I'd totally buy it again.

Great price and works fine

I like that this is an 8GB player because it holds all my music without needing an extra SD card. The menu and selection options take some getting used to, I kept pressing the button in the middle to go to play but you press the power button on the side to play, that was a little confusing. Sound is good with good earbuds. It does not list on the side that it is compatible with Windows 10 but it is, I had no problem hooking it up to my computer and transferring songs. Good value for the money.

I bought this thinking it would be a cheap alternative to my very old MP3 player that had a dying battery. I was sorely mistaken, because the POWER BUTTON DOESN'T WORK, so I can't turn it on, or even navigate the menus when it's hooked up to a computer through USB. This was a complete waste of $13. DO NOT BUY.

I have purchased the Ematic players which have always stood up to a lot of use and last a long time. I use mine night & day. The older version of the Ematic (EM102 2 Gigs) is the one I prefer. I am writing the differences and what I consider plus and minus:1. This version has more storage space2. The battery lasts longer and I can use it for about 24 hours without charging3. The sound seems clearer.Minus:1. The volume doesn't go as high (sound as loud) so some downloads are harder to hear.2. Whenever I turn it on after recharging, the player starts at the beginning (#1 song out of #125) which is annoying because I have to manually forward until I reach what I listened to last. the older version the player would turn on at the song or story I listened to last (#33 out of #125)3. It feels lighter weight and not as well made and since I drop mine a lot I do not know if it will stand up to a lot of handling.Anyway, I have just ordered 2 of the older style which I prefer. Hope this helps

While this player doesn't have all the modern day bells and whistles, it has plenty for my 10 year old. This player isn't "smart" but it does allow you to record your favorite songs off the radio. My son IS Radio so that was an exciting feature for him. It does not have a speaker on it so you have to use headphones with it. That was an exciting feature for me! ;) He also loves the included games. Tetris, Box Man, Road, and Snake. Plenty for a first timer. He also has a tablet for modern day games so these were more like a bonus for him. We have not tried the video feature yet, but hope to soon. I highly recommend it to anyone. It's a little old school, but works great.
