Great product would like to see the door latch improved.
This was a great product. Love it and recommend it to everyone. I didn’t like how the door opens and closes but managed to figure it out. Other than the door itself it’s well constructed and is made to last. Good stuff you don’t see these days

Solid 30-amp RV Power Outlet
I wanted to add a 30-amp protected outlet to the outside of a vacation cabin to hookup an RV to. This unit is well made and solid. All wire connections made at factory were tight. Installation was easy and straight forward with the included instructions. The bump out on the front cover allows you to easily close the cover with a 30-amp cord or surge suppressor with handle plugged in. The 20-amp GFCI outlet, protected by its own dedicated breaker, is a nice addition as there was no external outlet on this side of the cabin. Not the cheapest box on Amazon, but many of the other units on here had cheap busbars, breakers and/or connections that many reviewers said were broken or would break when tightened. As a retired General Contractor, I know the importance of quality electrical components. If I ever upgrade the RV to one that needs a 50-amp outlet, I will replace this unit with another one made by Connecticut Electric.

Good for an RV hookup.
Ran a buried line to my driveway for an RV hookup. Works well I was able to use both plugs after wiring them from one feed line.

Works great. Looks professional. Convenient regular 20 Amp outlet.
We set up a travel trailer at a new lake lot for weekend usage. This sub-panel installs easy. There is a wiring diagram inside it to show you where to run your hot, neutral and ground. There are a number of knockouts on the bottom for conduit. The cover closes for a weather tight seal while the 30 amp travel trailer is plugged in. The cover opens and closes very easy. The 20 amp outlet is a GFCI. It is convenient to have a normal outlet outside. This panel is a professional looking setup. I liked that because I installed it on a weekend, then called the rural electric company to turn on my service. Since I knew I would not be there when the lineman came out I wanted this to look proper. I turn off the breakers and unplug the travel trailer when we leave the lake. The only problem that I had was it was a little tight hooking up my wiring to the supplied terminal blocks. I ran 10 ga. and 12 ga. underground wiring (inside conduit) to the panel. The panel had a connector installed on the terminal block in case you want to bond the neutral and ground. (Check your local codes.)I'm very happy with the panel and I am glad that I bought it. Please note that ELECTRICITY CAN KILL YOU. If you question your ability to wire this up than don't second guess yourself. Get a licensed electrician to do it for you. Make sure the electrician knows that this a 110 v. hookup and not a 240. Follow local codes.

was ok. but not really happy
worked for what I needed but the bottom where the wire comes through. wasn't even partially punched out. I was molded to look like a knock out. but it wasn't. I had to drill it out extra trip to store. between the drilling and pushing on it. the door didn't close correctly after that. I would have returned it but needed it the week I put it in.

A really nice RV outlet box
This is a well made, waterproof box. It comes internally wired and the external power wire connections are easy to access. I like that the lock bar is retractable. It includes two circuit breakers and the one for 20 amps is a GFCI breaker. Once installed it powered my RV with no issues. My neighbor has a class A RV parked in his side yard with an extension cord running to it to charge his batteries, but the cord didn't provide enogh current to keep from tripping his house circuit breaker. He looked at my installation, pulled his phone out, and ordered the same box from Amazon for his house. It was installed yesterday and he is now a happy guy with charged batteries. The other comments about this box. First, it has a bump out for 30 amp adaptors with handles that stick out, so they aren't a problem plugging into this box. Second, Amazon has this box listed with two different prices. If you go with one, buy the cheaper box. Third, the box includes very thorough installation instructions. My neighbor was going to have a 50 amp outlet installed instead of this 30 amp. I asked him if he was going to run his air conditioners while parked and he of course said no. Next I asked why, then, does he need 50 amps. He caught on and bought this box instead of a different 50 amp version. If you are going to add one of these things to your house, 30 amps is more than enough.

good price
super easy to hook up... i bought three of these and all three had issues with the door latch right out of the box... had to modify in order to get them to work correctly...i bet i will have to use a different latch in the future
