Universal Bookends with Magnetic Base, 6 x 5 x 7, Metal, Black

These work well and are a nucw sizw. I've bought them twice. First I used a set to hold files on a metal rolling cart in my office. Then I bought a second set to hold cookbooks on top of the fridge. Did you realize the top of your fridge is magnetic? My cookbooks no longer topple over when I pull one out.

Strong, sturdy and works well. Magnet is strong and holds books up in the cart I use it on. Very satisfied and would purchase again.

I did not realize magnetic meant that it was for a metal bookshelf. Nonetheless, it works perfectly for the intended propose and they are the right height for the books I put on my bookshelf. Only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because the product info did not clearly identify that they are for a metal bookshelf.

Regular metal bookends tend to slide. The magnetic ones are great for my use since I'm using them on a rolling cart. Obviously if you aren't using them on a metal surface that will work with magnets, it's not for you. I've using three sets and nothing has moved or fallen off the cart for over 3 months now.

I fell in love with magnetic bookends for my metal bookshelves and it has been a game changer. Can take a lot of weight and they don’t slip when you remove or add books.

Decent size and thickness metal but only one is magnetic so had to buy some magnetic sheet to make the other one useful. Description should be more clear about that.

I am very pleased. I had quite a few cook books that wouldn't stand and they were on top of the refrigerator. Every time the door was closed, one would fall down or fall off. Now they are standing perfectly!

I got these to use in a filing cabinet. They are pathetic. The magnets are basically worthless. Further, the shape is an "L", not an an inverted "T" as pictured. Will return.
