Wet Brush = Miracle Brush for this family
My daughters have long hair that constantly gets tangled and knotted from sleeping, hearing hoodies/jackets, playing outside, swimming in the pool...seriously, it's a constant battle. Imagine huge, thick, nestlike knots where you start considering what's easier, working your way through the knot or grabbing the scissors. One daughter also has a very sensitive head that was compounded the issue as she would run the other way when I came towards her with a brush. Then, someone recommended the Wet Brush. This has been a miracle brush. We now own 4 of them. They work on wet hair right out of the shower, in the morning after they've slept with wet hair, on dry hair, really any time. What went from a situation of pain and agony, turned into a much more pleasant situation. I have also been pleasantly surprised by the durability of the brush. I've experienced the rubber tips from other similar brushes falling off or getting melted by a blow dryer, resulting in pointing metal ends. This has never been the case with the Wet Brush. Having long hair myself, I recommend starting at the bottom and working your way up. You can also push the brush into the know and pull down slightly while pulling the brush back out. That helps to loosen the knot, then start again at the bottom. Oh, and it's a time saver. Trying to get these knots out with a regular brush could take me 45 mins. Know it's 10 at the absolute most.

Happy surprise!
I am surprised! But happily surprised. Gentle brush that really works.QUALITY: Yes! The bristles have held up over time, with no loss at all of any of the bristle end caps. Fairly light weight yet durable with over time no loss of any bristles either.USE: I actually do use it on my wet hair. It is so gentle that it detangles easily and carefully. I start at the ends of my hair and brush lightly, working my way up slowly. I have a sensitive scalp, and with this brush I have not felt any of the usual brushing hair pulls. It has been gentle and effective the whole way wet hair or dry! The brush itself is medium weight, if you have ever bought cheap ones at the store, its a little heaver then those but not as heavy as a wood brush.CLEANING: Very simple to do, I have very long hair, long enough to sit on, and so my hair when it does come out really wraps in the bristles. Due to the softness I just hold the brush in one hand, and with the other squeeze the bristles and pull my hair out. It comes out easily. For washing I put dish soap on a wet cloth and run it through the bristles, then rinse the bristles off really quick under the running water, and tap bristles down over a paper towel. It dries fast and clean!---> I am impressed with its durablity and gentleness. I would gift this to a friend or re buy should I lose mine without hesitation!

I like it, and it works
I like it, and it works! It's my new favorite brush for wet and dry applications. It does a great job smoothing my hair and getting it to lay nicely when dry and great at detangling when wet. I am going to purchase a second Wet Hair Brush for my purse. I have elbow-length medium-fine grade 2 curly hair and lots of it. I use a wide-tooth comb in the shower to comb through conditioner. I also use the comb briefly when rinsing the conditioner. After I have towel-dried just by wrapping my hair for a few minutes in a towel (no rubbing), I use the Wet Hair Brush to detangle. Then message in any serum or treatments and use the Goody Quick Style Microfiber Paddle Brush http://amzn.com/B00CO58KY2 to distribute the product throughout. I know it sounds like a lot of brushes and combs, but it works well for me since I am tangle-prone. This Wet Hair Brush also does a great job of detangling my hair if I have worn it down. My hair tends to tangle badly underneath where it rubs against my clothing in the back. I am gentle to work through, especially when it is dry, but this brush does an excellent job, better than any other I have tried. I do not know how or why, it does not look remarkably different, but it works!

This detangler brush is MAGIC!!! So easy and pain free.
I was skeptical at first, like how could it really be pain free!?!? It's science, that's how. The angle at which the bristles of the brush go through the hair follicles is perfect for separating the hair without snagging or pulling your hair. A pro tip is that if you feel it starting to snag stop pull the brush out and restart the brush stroke, it basically teases the tangle lose. I've never felt pain with this brush unlike the ones I used to buy at the local supermarket. Definitely a must have in your hair kit.EDIT: It's been 6+ months later and I still love this brush. Definitely worth the few extra bucks to have an easy, relatively painless way to untangle my hair.

Must Have!
I love this brush. I have read online that some people try to buy Wet Brush hair brushes on Amazon but end up getting a brush that has a similar shape to a wet brush but does not work the same way. However, this brush was definitely Wet Brush brand at a great price. You can tell that you are getting the brand you are paying for based on the embossing at the bottom of the brush. This brush had the "Wet Brush" logo at the bottom, so I know it is the brand. I have had this brush for several months and have since purchased a second full size and two small versions for my purses.I love this. My hair is notably less broken. It is quicker and a lot less frustrating than combing my hair when I come out of the shower. I was never able to grow my hair longer than my shoulders (probably because I am extremely impatient and was ripping my hair out of my head or breaking it by aggressively combing my hair). The Wet Brush is very forgiving to my impatience. When I try and rip though a thick knot, the loose bristles pull the knots apart in the outer layer, and the brush forces me to go over the knot a couple more times (instead of simply ripping the knot out of my head).I could ramble about my love for this brush for several more paragraphs, but I will just end with this...If you have thin hair and a lot of breakage, you should try this brush. It changed my hair health and simplified my morning routine!
