I love Peppermint tea so I ordered this. If you don't use peppermint regularly, you might want to consider a smaller package. There is quite a lot in this package. It's wonderful for everything.

I've been drinking peppermint tea for almost 40 years. I've never tasted anything like what came from this seller. As soon as I opened the bag I knew something was not right. With good quality peppermint you usually get a very pleasant, fragrant aroma that can't be mistaken for any other herb. What I smelled from the bag was not pleasant. That is ok sometimes if the tea is some potent mix of different medicinal herbs. Peppermint should not smell this way. There is something wrong with the color too. Peppermint, even after drying process, usually maintains a pretty vibrant green color. This tea, when placed in the transparent container was brown without a hint of green. I figured I'd brew it and see what we have. Not pleasant is what we have. Not enjoyable by any means. It will go in compost and I'll go back to my original seller. Only ordered this because I suddenly realized I was completely out and shipping was overnight. Like others have stated, I usually enjoy this brand. But going forward will probably be paying more attention to reviews on other products before I purchase anything else.

I laughed when it arrived because I hadn't realized how much there was. I'll be drinking this tea for years. I do enjoy it although at first it felt like it had almost a pickle taste to it. Weird. I generally use it along with my Irish Breakfast tea. I learned to use just a little bit less and lost that pickle taste. Probably just my taste buds or the combination of the two teas making it taste like that. Tea itself seems fresh and smells great.

It's so good I make tea with it and tinctures as well. If you don't have a air tight jar you can leave it in its bag as long as it's sealed properly it will stay fresh.
