Best Low Effort Breakfast
I wanted a breakfast that:1. Had less than 300 calories2. Could be made in under 5 minutes3. Had enough fiber and protein to carry me to lunch (about 3.5 hours later).Optionally it would be:1. A -warm- breakfast.2. Taste good too.I've tried Quaker's other offerings and they don't match up to this. What sets this apart from their regular instant oatmeal is, for me, the size of the servings, the protein content, and the taste. Let me elaborate:Size: When I was big into their regular instant oatmeal I'd always find myself in the quandary where one pouch wasn't enough, and two was too much. I'd wind up eating two anyway, which is less than ideal when you're on a calorie restriction.Nutrition: I'm not a nutritionist, I'm just someone living by the simple rules of "Protein + Fiber > Anything". I want to be full, and I don't want it to come at a cost of greater than my daily calorie budget. Continuing from before, two packs of their Strawberries and Cream oatmeal clocks in at 260 calories (made with water), 54g of carbs, and only 6g of protein. One pack of this wins on all three fronts. A single pack of this stuff made with water has almost as much protein as two eggs, with almost none of the cholesterol. It's not perfect - you're getting about 3 teaspoons of sugar - but it's good.Taste: Simply put, I love the banana nut flavor. It's subtle, not too sweet, and not super bland either. The walnuts provide some needed texture, as well. It's not gourmet, and I do wish they had more than one other flavor, but it's definitely one of my favorites of their offerings as far as taste goes. One other thing I'd mention is how easy these are to make. The pouches double as measuring cups for the water (or milk if you choose), so you basically dump the contents into a container, fill the pouch up to the line, dump that in, stir, and microwave for a minute. Comes out perfectly every time.So overall, this is the best low-effort breakfast I've managed to find, outside of prepping a bunch of hard boiled eggs in advance. It gets me in under calorie budget to start my day, keeps me satiated until lunch time, and doesn't leave me wanting for much else. If they made some other flavors I would be all over those, too.

This variety is very good and tasty
I had been buying the more expensive one in a cup that amazon sells...though it was highly delicious, its way too expensive when you can add your own nuts and banana. This variety is very good and tasty, and much more healthy than the expensive brand...those cup-oatmeals have more sugar that a classic coke which is not good for anyone trying to be healthy, especially diabetics...and the sugar does bring you into early onset dementia. I am a premed, and the medical community is seeing sky-rocketing rates of dementia in 26-32 year olds due to diabetes and diet.It is less tasty than the sugary ones, and much less less banana and nuts, it almost tastes like a regular plain oatmeal with a hint of banana, but again, we can remedy that. For an extra $30-40 bucks, buy a 2-5 pound bag of walnuts and get regular banana or banana flakes on amazon, and the bags will last you months to years. You can freeze flakes and nuts, so take it from me whos on a budget with medical school coming, be healthy and just add your own to this and its wonderful. Hope this helps!

The best!
I absolutely LOVE this oatmeal! Definitely the best flavor they have is this banana walnut 🍌 What I do is boil one cup of water (3 minutes on high in the microwave) then pour it in a cup with one banana already cut into slices. Lastly, I apply a little drizzle of cinnamon powder to give the taste a kick.. delicious fulfilling breakfast that keeps me full for hours! I have to say, I will never spend another $5 for ONE box of these at the grocery store ever again, this bundle deal is too good to pass. Amazon take my money!

Great choice.
This has become my favorite flavor from Quaker. Not so sweet as many others, very satisfying, filling, and a tasty flavor with little bits of bananas and nuts. Could use a little more bananas in my opinion (can hardly taste them at times), but not complaining. Happy enough that I keep buying it again and again.

A nice breakfast and other meal if you so choose
These are delicious. I love the banana flavor. I haven't had oatmeal in a while but it's good to have an actual flavor in it instead of the usual bland oatmeal. Never tried a flavored oatmeal! You don't even have to add butter to it or anything, it's super sweet on it's own.

Tasty
Good price if you want to buy in bulk. I use two packs and extra non-fat milk. Also, add a bit of Splenda to the Banana Nut.If you want some extra protein in your diet this works. You can add more (not too much - maybe 1/3 of a scoop) unflavored protein to get even more. I mash up a very ripe banana and add that about 3/4 of the way through the cooking cycle. WARNING: The banana acts as a extra thickening agent so be prepared to add more liquid to the finished product. Needs extra stirring. Use a bigger bowl than normal. It need room to expand especially if you add that ripe banana. The faster it cools the thicker it gets.

I LOVED this stuff!
I bought a case of this for a recent hiking trip, looking for way to add more protein. This was so so good-- not too sweet unlike some of the other flavors, and the nuts gave it a pleasing texture. I liked it so much, now I eat it at home.
