Pro Products Neutra Sul HP01B Professional Grade Oxidizer, Neutralize Rotten Egg Smells and Pollutants, 1 Gallon, 4-Pack

Moved into a new home with a well for water supply which was a first for me. I had a company come out and test the water and install a whole home water filtration and softener system. Been very pleased with the performance, but we had a sulfur odor consistently every morning. The company indicated that we could either do a bleach treatment (>$100) every 6 months or install an injector systems (>$1000). Given the smell wasn't too terrible, I thought the latter was overkill and the former a hassle. In researching options, I came across hydrogen peroxide injectors and ultimately to this product.Someone had suggested they used this by pouring it into the brine tank and forcing a regen. That seemed reasonable and not a big hassle, but I worried it would not be very effective. Then someone else said they poured this into their filter housing which I thought was the better solution as the filter itself would absorb some of this product and provide a more constant neutralization. This is indeed what I did - poured an entire gallon into the 20" housing and mounted it back in place. Turned on the water and ran it for a while as I did see a slight bubbling effect at first - which was expected. After 10 minutes, everything settled down and we've had water without a sulfur smell since!I knew this product was working as when I went to put the housing back it really stank! That was the solution oxidizing the sulfur which is exactly what I wanted it to do! Very happy with this as my longer term solution although I don't know how long the effect of that single gallon will last - TBD on that.

This product works well to eliminate the sulfur smell we occasionally experience in our well water. Our softener system includes a small container where we can add a gallon of this oxidizer to be used in the next rinse cycle.Once every 3 months is usually sufficient, but I have had to add 2 gallons to clear an especially bad episode.

I have a dual iron removal system in my shed for the well water. Recently its not cleaning as well and getting red on the tub and toilets.My well driller suggested flushing the filters with this product. Worked great first time.Note, there was an order snafu and this company handled it immediately. Thank You.

Bought these to supplement my 5 gal between changes/service. Works like it should.

This stuff seems to work well in my peroxide drop system for eliminating iron bacteria and hydrogen sulfide from my private well. I can't deny that. Problem I have is I have had the system for about a year now. It came with 2- 5 gallon jugs of this same oxidizer. So when I needed to replace I naturally looked up the 5 gallon jugs which were 105 dollars at the time. So 5 gallons for 105 dollars. Then on the ad below them I seen these 4 -1gallon jugs for 44 dollars at the time and thought to myself either someone is stupid or this is a typo. But sure enough I got the 4 gallons for 44 dollars plus tax, which I was very pleased with considering the 5 gallon jug for 105 dollars. I bought another round of 4 gallons a couple months later for around the same price, they were like 47 dollars this time. I get it for business. But then the third time I come back they are now 60 dollars. When I see double digit increase on a product that costs double digits to begin with that screams greed to me. I have 3 filters and a softener all together and the more I added it all up I got upset. Between the initial purchase of these systems and maintaining them whether that's media or chemicals additives I'm just above 10 grand. And I'm sitting here thinking humans must have water to survive. These people are exploiting the needs for basic survival in our present existence and I have a major problem with that. You wanna tax me hard on my truck or my racing fuel or my whatever that is a luxury then that's still stupid but it is what it is. I have the choice to not buy it. Water I gotta have, I use a private well that is seriously messed up. Why the hell do I gotta deal with some corporate greed nonsense over something that I will die without. I just really think these companies should step back and evaluate their reserved spot in hell real quick because if I lose my job and don't have the money to treat this water, I run the potential of getting sick or worse or drinking plastic BPA filled water from a stupid bottle that turns my testosterone into estrogen and causes more health issues for me. Am I the only one who sees it this way?

We have a system to neutralize the sulphur smell from our water. We ran out and the company we use to service the system was going to charge us a service fee to bring a case to us or a huge fee to have it delivered to us. I was so happy to find it on Amazon. It takes the smell out like it claims.

Bought it for my new water system and it work 100% got rid of the sulfur smell from my well system I highly recommend.

I live in Florida and my well water smells like eggs, and tastes horrible. I have a hydrogen peroxide injection system to help remove the smell and taste. The problem is I could taste the hydrogen peroxide at times and finding the 7% peroxide was difficult as the stores constantly were out of stock.I found Nutra Sol on Amazon and thought I’d give it a shot. Glad I did. Not only is it cheaper, it gets delivered to my door instead of running around town trying to find peroxide in stock, but it works so much better with no hydrogen peroxide flavored water!
