Fabric type electrical tape works real well for automotive work.

Seem like a good value.
You get eight rolls. Seems adequately sticky, not too thick or heavy. I've used it a couple of times to bundle ham radio cables, seems to work fine.

Great for car stereo installs
Used this when upgrading a car stereo. The fabric tape is extremely flexible and the adhesive seemed strong. Using this tape to bundle the wires to create somewhat of a harness really cleaned up the install and should provide more protection then just cramming a bunch of loose wires in the dash and hope nothing gets pinched.
