Because I was once a Bloodhound in a previous life, I have an extremely sensitive nose so I have to be picky about essential oils. Some of them claim to be pure essential oils but the scent makes it obvious that it's just perfume instead. (Rant: I can smell most of you perfumed people from 20ft away. Lighten up, I'm begging you. It's supposed to be a light scent appreciated by someone who hugs or kisses you, not a chemical weapon that takes out asthmatics and allergy sufferers within a 20ft radius.)I've used expensive brands, at least until I found a quality oil (initials are E.G. if you must know) but they don't always have the scent I want.Enter NOW brand essential oils. I've tried a few and can confirm that they are PURE essential oils (not perfumed junk) and the aromas have all been exactly what they claim to be. No funky smells or slightly "off" odors. Lemongrass smells like lemongrass, mint smells like mint, everything smells exactly as it should!This brand is completely reliable, I haven't had a bad one yet, and the price CAN NOT BE BEAT.

I use this in a yoga studio for meditation and it's perfect. Only thing is don't use too much. It's really easy to over do it, but with the right amounts I've had people rave about how much they love it.

I am completely shocked that no one has pin-pointed the actual smell of this lemongrass to a food or snack product. Okay, there are 5 people in my house and 3 of the 5 enjoy the smell. My daughter purchased this item for my aromatherapy machine and it smells wonderful. It smells just like a mouth full of lemonheads. If you’re not a fan of lemons I do not recommend this product for you. I love lemons, the taste, the smell, even the look of lemons, so this was the perfect oil for me. Additionally, using this product in my machine- the less water used to about 1/4 cap of lemongrass oil the more it will smell like peeled or zested lemons and somewhere in between it smells like a big box of leamonhead candies if you use a little more water in your aromatherapy machine, yummy.Quick note: when you open the bottle the smell of lemon isn’t as strong as it is once placed in the machine.How did this oil benefit my family: I have severe asthma and the floor guys have been working 8 hours a day for 3 days downstairs in my house and this oil has been a life saver. I kid you not, my son nor I have had no asthma attacks even with the tremendous amount of dust making its way upstairs everyday from the cutting of porcelain tiles.

I only buy NOW brand essentials oils...superior to any other brand..consistant goodness..its the beat!!!!!!

I've been a fan of NOW essential oils for several years now, using them as natural air fresheners. The lemongrass oil is different from some of the other oils. Instead of the initial scent being strongly fragrant, this oil has a mildly bitter grassy smell at first. However, while the other oils rapidly decline in intensity, the lemongrass oil permeates deeply and lingers for a while. The smell also becomes very fragrant, more lemon and less grass. Overall, I am very happy with the cost and effectiveness of this product.

I love all Now products. This has been my favorite up lifting scent for spring.
