Zaltana Inflatable Camping Pillow

This blow up pillow is an absolute game changer. I take this little guy with me when my unit goes to the field for FTX or any prolonged field problem. Let me tell you, nothing beats this thing when it comes to head comfort. Not even a rolled up woobie or rolled up extra uniform. Having a pillow in the field makes a huge difference the next day when you wake up. No, headache or neck pain that inhibit you to focus on the task at hand. Let me tell you there is nothing worse than waking up after a stressful night with little sleep and then running missions all day but on top of that you have a headache. It just sucks. Not with this little guy. Its cheap, easily foldable, and won't take up much space in your ruck or pack etc. Easy to blow up too. Small note: the color in real life is a little more on the light green side and not as dark as depicted here. Its not too crazy so you can bring it with you to the field.

This worked really well, and is the best buy for such a product. It's not the easiest to deflate, but it's not THAT hard either. Inflating it is fine. The best attributes are that it completely deflates (with a little effort) and takes up very little space in one's bag, it's comfy enough, and it's a bargain.

I've owned it for about 8 months now and use it fairly frequently when I travel. Pros: It's small (so it travels easily), it's light, it blows up (and deflates) fairly quickly (if you know how to pinch the valve), seems to hold air fairly well, the valve stem can be pushed down into the pillow so it is totally out of the way when inflated, cost is excellent. Cons: The valve stem must be pinched in the right place (more towards the BOTTOM of the valve stem) or it takes quite a bit of huffing and puffing to blow it up. The material it's made from gets a little warm when in contact with your neck, leg(s), etc. Tip: If you want to sleep with this between your knees while sleeping on your side (like I often do) I don't recommend filling it completely full of air. If you do this thing is as hard as a rock and not very comfortable.

This is an okay pillow. It is very quick and easy to pack. However, it is not very comfortable and popped very easily. It is the same color that it shows. It is smaller than a typical pillow.

Those who say it’s “too hard” to inflate or deflate are just being whiny. It inflates just as easy as any old pool floaty, except it’s so small it really doesn’t take long. I inflated it and deflated it in less than 2min. It’s an inexpensive product that works just how it should. I bought this because it’s pretty much in Army regs for color. I’ll update my review after I take it out to the field to see if it holds up but after testing at home there’s no problem. Held air overnight in the house.

I've used this pillow on 4 separate tent camping trips now, all with the same result. While the product doesn't leak, inflating it without biting the air inlet valve in order to open it is a real PITA. Also, as a side sleeper with 46" shoulders, the pillow is not tall enough to support your head. Even on my back is it marginally better. I have tried leaving it in a "soft" configuration for better comfort and that does not work, and fully inflating it leaves it hard and not comfortable either. The felt-like side is nice for a non-slide surface, but I think they would have been better off coating both sides. Neither side is "cool" during the summer. Net/net: I am now shopping for another pillow after I finish this review. Maybe this product will work for kids or as a lumbar support in the car, but I won't be using it for sleeping ever again.

I need a pillow to sleep with, between my legs, for a bad knee. This is perfect. I can blow it up in about a minute, & deflate it in about 30 secs. It's the right size to fit between my legs, & is sort of fuzzy on the outside so it's comfortable & not sticky like some rubberized pillows I've had in the past. It folds up to about 3" square. Great for travel!

Good for the field or camping. Easy to pack, reasonably comfortable. Color is in regs and easy to inflate. They're not huge but are a good compact size and better than nothing.

Se lo regale a mi novia para los campamentos y le fascina, es muy bueno y comodo, aparte se comprime lo suficiente para no ocupar espacio.

Pas mal pour le prix, seul problème la première fois que je l'ai gonflé, je me suis redu compte que la valve de gonflement était pratiquement bouché, j'ai du prendre quelque chose de pointu pour la débouché, quand même un bon produit.

There is a valve inside the inflation tube so pinch it hard with your fingers or bite on it while inflating and deflating to make it go much faster and easier. The pillow is a good height and more comfy than I expected. You can adjust the softness by letting a little air out. It even comes with one repair patch. Nice little pillow for a good price. I have yet to sleep on it but I will be using it as a bottom pillow to support my tiny memory foam camping pillow.
