Poor quality printing ruins an otherwise good comic
The story is great, this isn't a negative review for the contents of the book, however the omnibus is printed all the way to the edge leading to multiple times throughout the book where it's hard to read what is going on because the speech bubbles or action "fall" into the crack in the middle of the book. A little black border around the pages would have prevented this at the cost of shrinking the artwork a tiny amount, but instead now you have to really fold the book wide open to see all the art, which I'm pretty sure will make some of the pages fall apart in the long run as this doesn't appear to have the best binding.

Interesting, but full of boomer cringe.
The world created in the comics has a lot of interesting elements, but it is also full of a lot of cringe Boomer tropes like homophobia, or POC who talk about 'bustin a cap all up in yo ass!', or just boomer style pettiness about clothing styles, hair, or types of pets someone wants to have. If you can look past all of that, it's worth reading.

Interesting analogies
Loved the twist of the G-Men being an obvious allegory for the XMen. Twisted but strangely very reminiscent of that extended tribe of mutants.I want more of Terror. Still get a tremendous kick out of that dog. Hughie sort of needs to grow a pair. I’d like to see more of what Starlight can do. Pretty stupid with visibility of The Seven that Hughie hasn’t caught on yet.I’ll keep binging on the series though. No doubt about that.

To Graphic
Having enjoyed the Boys first season on Amazon Prime, new to me. As I am a comic book fan going way back to when I was a lad I bought the The Boys Omnibus Vol 1 graphic novel, Good stuff, again new yo me. I bought The boys Omnibus Vol 2, got through in an afternoon, as I'm locking my self in. The second Volume is a bit too much, Far to graphic for me. Very crude, crass rubbish, put me right off, more like porn. pity realy, Won't be buying any more of The Boys graphic novels.

Ennis Makes the X-Men Creepy
Once again, having watched the series first, I am surprised by the slow burn of the Seven storyline in comparison. I like it. Hughie digging into the past and what Vought has done over the years was very interesting, and I was genuinely surprised by the way the plane scene was presented in this version. The stand-out part of this omnibus, though, was the G-Men. The way Ennis twisted the X-Men was really dark and I kind of loved it. The shock value in this series really is something, and it's a glorious contrast with the more family friendly tone of mainstream superhero comics. None of my favourite superheroes will survive first contact with this man, will they? Hahaha.
