Really easy setup! It adds power and you can hear the turbo!

Great power adder for the Skyactiv 2.5 turbo
Nice intake. Well designed. I especially like the heat shield to keep hot engine air away from the intake. Installed in less than 30 minutes. Added noticeable power when accelerating. The only downside is the added sucking noise especially under part throttle acceleration. No added noise in my CX-9 under full throttle. I have not seen nor did I expect any mpg improvement.

Awesome Product
I have used as CAI before and greatly enjoyed its benefits to my cars. With this latest purchase, my Mazda feels like a 6 cylinder vs. a 4-cylinder!

Great K&N Intake.
Easy to install, looks and sounds great.

Not impressed
Sucking sound on parcial throttle. Hot air entering due to hole on heat shield too big for metal intake hose. When I cover the hole with a piece of aluminum the sucking sound is minimal. Poor design for KNN.

Tire squills hitting 2nd gear!
Working great on my Mazda CX9, noticably improved acceleration even getting tire squills when hitting 2nd gear!! Impressive my only reason for not listing five stars was that air filter wasn't the correct size, one call to K&N customer service and the issue was corrected with a new filter at my door three days later(told to keep the incorrect one which fits my Ford!!) very satisfied and highly recommended.

2025 4runner limited
Chose this one because I wanted the least heat soak. Even fully enclosed you can hear the turbo spooling wonderfully and all sorts of turbo noises. Instructions are in a weird order def review the entirety of the install before doing.

Turbo Sounds Great
Very easy install on my 2021 Mazda CX-9 with the 2.5L Turbo. Not sure of its performance benefits, but really makes the turbo sound great. The dyno sheet supplied states 10 hp and 11 ft/lbs of torque increase.

Easy to install, clear instructions. No check engine light. I confirm it fits Mazda CX-9 2022! Makes that « wooooshh » turbo sound once installed.
