A very Critical review
Edit (06/29/2025)THE PICTURES IN THIS REVIEW ARE NEW TAKEN AS OF THE NIGHT I HAVE EDITED THIS POST!!!!THIS IS NOT FROM WHEN I GOT THIS CHAIR IN FEBURARY OF 2023!!!!This is on me, not this chair. This chair has gone through so much abuse in the last two years I have had it.It has never ripped, but I have completely destroyed the right arm rest...I will personally say as long as you aren't a gamer with ... rage issues ha-ha, this chair will absolutely hold up.I have slept in this chair many times too, it has held up comfortably, and suitably.Let me start off with a few things more so towards this company. It was suppose to arrive by tomorrow but it ended up one day early which I absolutely loved!Downside a bit, I didn't expect the box to be that heavy.. Or that large, But It's fine it made sense why in the long run.The chair is very different.. compared to "Leather" chairs, Leather chairs tend to rip quite a lot over time.I had my Leather chair for years (I estimate at least 4 years) and it tore within the first year like hell.I have stayed away from getting a new one (Since at the time they were expensive and I couldn't entirely put that type of money just towards a chair until I really really needed one) But I like my stuff to look very nice and clean, I am a very well organized person and I will not live in disgust, I loved and hated my leather chair. But when I decided enough was enough I finally decided to get a new chair. IN WHICH.. I decided to try out this one, A fabric chair.. Now, In the long run this chair should provide no tearing as long as it is kept clean, and good smell it and maybe clean wash it every once and a while.NOW! Let's begin my true opinion on this chair.* It is very comfortable, It can go almost a full 90+ degrees down (Don't do it I literally almost fell back 5 times and my girlfriend was laughing her butt off at me..).*This chair is mostly fabric and the arm rests are a very very hard but can be squished type of fabric/foam material..? Not entirely sure, Very hard.. But comfortable enough.*The pillows are very comfortable* It took a bit but was very easy to assemble following the instructions on the poster*They sent some extra accessories.. (More on that later)* It comes with a 10 year warranty. and a 2 year warranty for accessories.*The instructions also have a poster on the back which is very nice I liked that. Now let me get to the accessories. They provided me a Mousepad which I am using right now, It isn't as wide as I would've liked HOWEVERTHIS THING IS LONG AS HECK?!? Almost my entire table excluding 11 inches. It said it was a keyboard and mousepad, However I did NOT receive a keyboard..(Not sure on that)(don't really care cause I bought the chair not the keyboard..but I would've taken a extra keyboard too.. ;-;)Alright, let me get to the CONs of this chair that I had. (not all are bad just small things)Firstly, The box came pretty banged up.. Which was expected out of UPS. (I worked for UPS for a while.)Secondly, when assembling the screw-in area for the left top side of the back-rest wasn't completely good.. and it took me 30 minutes to get that screw in just right so the screw would pop the first washer in place and clip in basically. Which can happen just saying not a bad thing.. was just annoying.Thirdly, The chair hangs low to the ground at max height. my other chair was very high standing and I did enjoy that A LOT, But things like this I didn't take into account so it is half my fault, But the chair is more than good for me so yeah.Fourth and foremost, It's not that.. Wide.. It's more so meant for small women (Shoutout to the little queens of the world) Would be better for Women than Men but overall I will get use to it eventually.Fifth and final.. And I hate to say it even though it literally shows and says it doesn't.. NO LEG REST :SOB:Sadly no leg rest, But that's what you get for comfortability over utility.Overall.5 Stars is my review.4 Stars on utility.5 Stars on Comfortability.5 Stars for Gaming, (Just beware butt sweat)5 Stars on packaging5 Stars on Shipping.5 Stars on Friendly Customer Service.4 Stars on Size. (Could be a BIT bigger.. But still)5 Stars to the Company1 Star on that stupid screw that made me angry.Overall. Great chair, I'd recommend for at least small-decently large people.Anyone over 5'10 like myself and probably around 180+ pounds will have a hard time with this chairs size!Edit:Hello, this is my review about almost 2 years in, I am here to update you on my review.Since I got it it has been well and has served me good, it has gone through a lot of abuse... a lot.The chair is still holding up well, the color has sort of started to fade, as does with cloth over time, sadly a slit opened in the side of the arm rest which has VERY slowly been getting worse. On another note, they deskmat they sent me is doing great been using it for a long time.I have to say overall I have had a great time with this chair, now overtime this chair has fallen, been hit, smacked and other stuff, it now makes a small noise when I sit back on it, one of the wheels fell off but not damaged, this chair has survived a lot of abuse.I am going to give this chair a new rating compared to my previous.Fabric Material8 out of 10-Build Quaility9 out of 10-Comfort8.5 out of 10-Utility7.2 out of 10Again it doesn't have much it can do other than basically go up and down and lay at a full 180 pretty much.-Size6.8 out of 10I am deciding to lower the rating for size.Previously it was a 4 out of 5 but I am going to give it a 3.6 out of 5.I ended up turning the the lumbar pillow around to the back of the chair, I honestly recommend it as it will provide a bit more room.-I personally wish I could get another one so I can get rid of this slit as it cuts on my arm time to time but it can't be helped, no money to buy another.Thank you all for reading my review.Hope this helps.Total rating. 8.6 out of 104.3 out of 5

Great chair that easily blends into the apartment!
I needed a gaming/ergo chair for my long hours of taking classes/working on my internship in my apartment and this one fits the bill perfectly. What really sold me on this chair is the cloth material, it feels so much more durable than pleather! One note: The light grey version doesn't quite match up with the picture listed. The sides/back of the chair actually covered in the same light grey fabric, and not the bonded leather in the picture. This was a pleasant surprise for me as I don't really like black chairs.Pros:-It looks like a relatively normal chair. Other gaming chairs have bright colors and accent lines that just don't quite match my taste. I bought the light grey version and it blends nicely in with my apartment.-Very supportive. I'm 5'8" and ~170lbs and fit very nicely into the chair. The cushions are supportive and keeps you in a good posture.-Easy to assemble. This chair came in a few large pieces and required relatively smaller amount of work to put together.Cons:-I wish the chair would lift a little higher. I have an abnormally tall setup (sitting/standing desk) and with the chair at the highest and armrest maxed out it's still an inch or two shorter than my keyboard. Can't ding the product though as my setup is atypical.-Lacks flashy features other gaming chairs may have (massaging lumbar support, foot rest, etc). I don't personally miss them but you may have different criterias.-Smells funny, let's see how long it takes to outgas.

Excellent for the money, but not quite premium
So I've been through my fair share of "gaming chairs" and feel relatively qualified to weigh in on this one. I started with a cheapo $100 gaming chair my freshman year of college (which fell apart in about 9 months), then had a used Herman Miller Aeron until the lifter died, sold it and got a DX Racer which was fine, but very stiff, and currently use a Secret Lab Titan that I absolutely love and is in like-new shape even after 3 years of daily use. This Karnox is definitely a huge upgrade from your typical pleather $120 "gaming chair" with fold out leg rest that will break if you put a cup of water on it. The cloth material is thick enough to not rip the second a key in your pocket pokes it and the metal and padding materials are a massive improvement from the pot metal and plastic "foam" found on cheaper chairs. The lumbar support is good enough and the reclining mechanism feels like it will last for quite a while. Overall, the materials are a 7.5/10.The real issue is the fit and finish on the smaller details. The screws don't all line up perfectly, the chair doesnt sit perfectly flat on the base and can feel slanted if you're sitting a certain way, the stitching has some irregularities in the colored parts, and the wheels are sometimes hesitant to spin.HOWEVER, you aren't paying for a DX Racer or a Secret Lab, you're paying about half of that for a chair that is 3/4 as good, which in my opinion is a great deal. I bought this for my fiance who plays games with me 3-4 times a week and she loves it. If you're a daily user who is going to spend 2-3 hours minimum in your chair a day, I would say get a Secret Lab, Steelcase, or Herman Miller simply because their warranties are AWESOME and the materials they use are super premium. But if you're a lighter or non-daily user, I think this is an amazing bang for your buck and is an excellent choice!
