The most spectacular Physical Therapy tape made
I’ve tried to write this review three times and Amazon kicks it out so I can’t really tell you how wonderful this is. It takes away pain the moment you put it on I’m not AI. I’m not a bot. I’m not a paid reviewer, but I’d like you to know that this really works for SI joint pain. It lasts up to five days for me if I shower rather than take a bath.

Great value for the price. Physical therapists charge extra to tape you. Love this product
Product applies easily and lasts through showers, workouts, life, for days. Trim edges as it starts to lift. Very sticky and effective

BEST TAPE I'VE TRIED, BUT NOT PERFECT
I first started using this product when my PT recommended it to lend additional support to my arthritic thumb. The tape definitely has reduced the pain I experience when doing everyday things like eating, making my bed and getting dressed. That said, the tape is not waterproof; when it gets wet, the edges peel and become unstuck. Thus, it generally lasts between showers, as long as I keep it dry. I like that it comes in different colors and that I can use it on other parts of my body that occasionally need more support after being stressed or strained after workouts or overuse.

Works great! Too expensive
I don't understand how, but this tape vastly relieved my collar bone pain from thoracic outlet syndrome. My chiropractor recommended this and let me try some of hers, and it worked so well I bought my own.It sticks pretty well for three days if you let it, but it'll start to irritate my skin after a couple days or an edge starts to lift off and gets itchy. If I do try to keep it on for three days, it leaves a big red patch for a day where the tape was, but honestly, the pain relief outweighs this. The price seems pretty high for what it is, though, especially if you use it a lot or need longer strips. I may try other brands that are more affordable, though I'm a little doubtful that they would work as well as this stuff. Pretty amazed that this works.

I like the strength of the tape
I've tried different tapes from Amazon and this one seems the best. The stretch retention seems better and the strength of the stretch seems stronger. Other tapes I've tried seem like a loose rubber ban when stretched.

Strong hold, left marks
I'm hoping this roll is a fluke. I holds well, but leaves sticky residue on the skin. I've used Rock Tape for years and never had this problem. This was the first time I bought the flesh color. Normally I buy black logo.

I am amazed at how well this works to help retrain my ...
I started going to the Chiropractor for back pain and knee pain. My Chiropractor introduced me to Rock Tape for my knee pain. I promptly came home and ordered a roll via Prime, since I knew the tape would come off in a few days before my next appt. I took pictures of how the Chiropractor wrapped my knee and followed what she did. For the next visit, I took my own tape so she could teach me in person how to wrap. I am amazed at how well this works to help retrain my knee, so to speak! The issue I am having is my patella, or kneecap, is a little off kilter. Not dislocated, just shifting a little to the left. I am highly tolerant of pain, and the pain in my knee from this issue has had my crying out in pain. I am doing exercises to strengthen my muscles back in the hopes of avoiding MRI's and everything that comes with that! I wish it stayed on for more like 3 or 4 days, but that may be also because of how active I am during the day with my job. I do not sit at a desk, and after about 36 hours or so, the tape starts to "roll up." Not necessarily an indication that the tape does not work, but perhaps if I sat at a desk all day or wore loose fitting pants, it would not start to roll up on me so quickly. I see myself using this tape for the foreseeable future. I would highly recommend this tape!!!!!

Helpful pregnancy-pain solution
I am writing this review because I bought and used the product for a purpose I didn't see mentioned - pregnancy. I have two torn lumbar discs and a large (3") ventral hernia along the abdominal midline and am suffering from symphysis pubis dysfunction/diastasis of the symphysis pubis, which is a really painful condition involving loosened pelvic joints and instability while pregnant. (Thanks, hormones. ;)) All that said, I have a lot of pain in the belly, back, and pubic bone in the last half of pregnancy.I purchased this tape initially thinking I could use it to support the abdominal wall in the area of abdominal hernia which comes under a lot of wear and tear as the baby grows and kicks in that area. (In my prior pregnancies, it the hernia ripped further on several occasions when the baby kicked hard in that area.) When I got the tape, I crossed it in front of the umbilicus to serve this purpose, and it has helped that problem tremendously.I have also used the tape to create belly support, using two strips that cross underneath the belly and wrap up my sides onto my back. There are a few examples on the internet if you research "pregnanyc kinesio taping." VN player, Kerri Walsh, did something similar in her last pregnancy, and I found a couple other helpful models, as well. I am now 28 weeks and will not think of skipping the tape, as it helps alleviate my back tremendously. In fact, the day I took it off for an abdominal ultrasound, I was in so much pain I could barely walk until I realized I had not put the tape back on. I am still in a good deal of pain but am far more functional with the tape on than off. Finally, as a comment on this particular brand and function of tape, A+. I have only used Rock Tape and KT Tape brands, but this one is superior in its stay-on-ability and its stretch/movement with the body. I like the beige as I am wearing it across a prego belly and don't need the extra splash of color. I would advise to anyone using it on themselves to research taping methods and the mechanics of its stretch (when to stretch or not stretch it based on your need and placement) so that you get good results.
