This beater works great. I felt like it is overpriced but it’s Kitchen Aid brand.

Necessary for the Kitchen Aid
In my opinion, the Kitchen Aid mixer is difficult to scrape down the bowl or even add ingredients when the mixer is running. That is why this beater is so handy. It completely scrapes the bowl's sides and make it unnecessary to stop the mixer so often.

Doesn't do exactly what you think
While is works great for the models it mentions it doesn't do that great of a job "scrapping the sides" of the bowl. Its also harder to get your spatula in the middle to get dough or frosting off. I like it but don't think its a great scraper.

Great for bakers
I bake all the time. This attachment works like a dream to mix ingredients! Absolutely love it

Works fine, I used it today to make a carrot cake. Great mixer attachment.

Much better than the standard metal attachment
This works way better than the metal one, but I do still have some issues with batter sticking to the sides and bottom of the bowl. Not nearly as bad, though. And I think it depends on the batter. Might actually buy another so I can use this always instead of barely ever needing to use the metal one.

Still scraping the sides manually
Nice bit doesn't reach the sides of the bowl on my kitchen aid. Still having to scrape down
