Super bright and gets super hot. I mean...for how bright they are I expected some heat but if you are putting a shade or other enclosure are this bulb you need at least a few inches. Maybe better for outdoor use if at all? Really handy and useful otherwise so I'm keeping them around for other applications.

I put one in my bedroom ceiling fan with a frosted globe and this LED bulb throws out a lot of light. It was just the right length to barely fit and that's perfect. It makes it very easy to read while sitting in bed even if I don't use my reading light. I'm really glad I saw this product and purchased it. I'll keep the second bulb as a spare if I need it. I'm always trying new LED bulbs and these are really good. And, LED bulbs last a long time and save on electricity.

Read the reviews! All the 5 stars talk about the brightness (probably right after installing it). All the 1 star reviews are about the lifespan or the heat. They do run hot. But I'm using for outdoor post lamps with glass enclosures...so the heat is fine with them. But I suppose it's the heat causing the other problem. The lifespan. My first bulb went out within 3 weeks! My experience is that you will get anywhere from 3 weeks to 3 months out of these. Mine have are used in post lamps that have a photocell. So they are on only at night, not 24 hrs or anything. Pretty absurd life on these.Update: Got a replacement set if bulbs from Amazon. The first of the replacements failed in 2 weeks!

Excellent product. Really does a great job of lighting up my the front and back of my property. Although, the cost is a too high, I bit the bullet and bought. Rated for 30000 hours and 2000 lumens which is the minimum I’d consider for lighting up my back porch and front

Nice bright white light. Bad for a light by the bed because of this constant clicking/chirping sound. Vendor does not respond to complaint about constant clicking and chirping sound. Bad vendor!

The bulb did not last for 3 months and less than 1000 hrs. I had bough 4 and all of them failed at the same time. They do not last more than 100 hrs. I have sent a message to the company for replacement as per the warranty

These are much brighter than the low energy bulbs they replaced. Our cloakroom is now the brightest room in the house!
