Have a Troy Bilt 25CH that had horrible idling and was constantly stalling. Was literally ready to throw it out. Knew the carburetor kept getting dirty despite having clean gas. Anyway stumbled on a youtube video and after watching it, looked around for a carburetor kit and found this one.Didn't come with any directions but if you have a basic understanding of DIY it's pretty easy to figure out. The only thing that gave me a real pain was snaking the new gas lines. The tubes are very tight to get into holes. What I did was cut one side of the hose so the hose tip resembled a sharp point and with a pair of needle nose pliers snaked and then pulled it thru. At that point just snip the cut you made for a clean tip.Anyway, with the new carburetor and the adjusting tool that addresses any idling issues, the trimmer is now running like new, frankly it's running better than even when it was new. This was a great little kit at an even better price!

As others have said, no choke plate attached, not even drilled for one. Some said it was there....The adjustment tool provided was correct for my shipment. Overall the carb is useless to me. Will not run on Troybilt 225tb tiller. I did however repair my original carb and got it running. Used the filter, fuel line, gaskets, adjustment tool and parts off the new one. Not a total disappointment. And for the price, I suppose I still got it going on the cheap.
